Egypt is an ancient kingdom, nearly a millenium old. At its seat of power was the Grand City of Thebes, envy of the world, hosting the massive wonder of the Pyramids of Giza not too far away.
To keep things simplistic, the kingdom was divided into 2 divisions, Lower Egypt (capital at Thebes) and Upper Egypt (capital at Asyut).
For many years the phaorah held complete control over the realm, using his elders in the diffrent divisions as advisory boards. But in 2456BC, the pharaoh was killed after a scaffolding of a palace under construction collapsed with him on top. In his place was the 5 year old hier, Ramesses. Since it was clear he wouldnt be able to control the nation, the elders took over the reigns until Ramesses could take control.
But as he was raised, he was told to believe the pharoah did not have ultimate power. He was told the elders and pharoah shared power, so when he ascended the throne he quickly established the Dual Board of Egypt with which he would co-govern the kingdom.
Now, a strong pharoah by the name of Tut has arisen. He respects the system set up by Ramesses but how long will it be until he thinks otherwise....

So Matthix ordered that something has to be done about that.

- Expand in all directions possible, use 1/5 of the army to support expansion

The army has grown in size. However it had a huge impact on the economy. The economy was now on the brink of a total collapse. So something has to be done quickly. Already a huge project was started, but it would take several years to finish that. And Matthix simply don't have the time to wait for that.
Some things which might help on short time is giving the people a little taxcut.

It was now 10 years into the Min dynasty and China was prosperous. The Southward expansion went very well, the farming people in the regions quickly welcoming the Imperial army. Since no warfare had been conducted, the farms and villages had remained intact. Emperor AAminion00 ordered some of the rice and other plants cultivated in the region to be sent to the Northern markets to increase the economy. Meanwhile, now part of a more powerful empire, the people in the southern lands started forming cities on the banks of the rivers. The Emperor ordered more roads to be constructed to these new settlements to further expand the economy. He hoped this would be completed within 20 years.Yet while all of this was happening to the South, Emperor AAminion00 and many of his generals had their eye to the East.
Scouts reported that to the East was a country called "Korea". In terms of size, it was smaller than China, but it also had great wealth and a bigger army. At first Emperor AAminion00 was hesitant to invade, but then he learned that the country was split among bickering nobles. He called his most trusted general, Shoon Tang, and ordered him to invade Korea and take it while it was still divided. He suggested he try and join forces with one of the Korean nobles to destroy the others at first. Then, to take all of Korea for China.
As Tang left, the Emperor waited for a while pondering the strategy. Finally he ordered his navy to expand to the island in the Southeast and establish a colony there.

Tut observed the Pyramids, the gigantic tombs of thier ancestors. He was lucky to be able to just sit and gaze at thier splendor. Other generations had had to defend from these peaks, when Libyans and Nubians alike charged into Egypts grandest cities.
Those times had long ended but Tut knew he couldnt become complacent. Phoenicians to the east threatened his border there, but they seemed a peaceful people and likened trade over war.
Perhaps the two kingdoms could become allies....

The Greeks offered Rome to buy their southern Italian provinces.
The Roman Senate has decided to choose what to do. What that was decided was the most crazy thing Rome ever did or will do:
Old senator, Romilius: We have gathered here to discuss the Greek offer of buying their southern Italians provinces. Cornelius poso will talk first.
High senator, Cornelius: Yes the Greek were kind enough to offer us the lands for 10,000c. Of course the economy will be weakened if we accept, as I always believed in peace, I belive Rome should jump on the offer and take it
Senator, Nero: I disagree! Who said Greece could ever take those territories? We are more powerful then them, we should show them we are not afraid of the Greek empire! They are at their weakest days! We must take those provinces with no payment! And maybe even more later!

Without declaration of war for the first two days the 15 legions charged into the Greek lands and small defenses.
With the legions the Roman cavalry advanced to, and in the third move of the war, Cavalry and legions destroyed the first Greek defenses. Now the war has really started.

Years of wandering amonst the forests of Eurasia has led the Muscovite people to found the small town of Moscow deep within the Russian wilderness. The Russian leader, the Grand Puma of the Muscovites, has assembled local leaders who dream of a Kingdom in Russia that rivals the great empires of Europe and Mesopotamia. The local tribesmen, all of russian/slavic decent pledge their men and resources to the establishment of this dynasty. As the most skilled warrior and most learned of wisemen, Puma has been selected as the ruler of the confederation of tribes. However, seeing equality in all Russians their is no fundemental overthrow of the tribal governments or no enforcement of a state religion. Placing loyalty above forced unity he allows each leader to retain soverignty over his local tribal area. These leaders act as a council of elders, or advisory board for decisions affecting all Russians, oversaw by Puma himself. However, at their first meeting all present agreed on one thing, expansion.
