endgame CTD

I know a few others are having random ctd, but mine is always endgame. Once the final turn is over, instead of going to the stats and stuff it just crashes. Just wondering if there are any ideas out there for this fix.

P.S. Before this I was getting just a black screen when I launched the game, however I fixed that by changing the native resolution of the game (in the config file) to the same resolution taht I normally run at and that fixed that.

I've had this exact problem. I've been about to win the game in several different ways (completing the spaceship, diplomatic, cultural) and the game always crashes to the desktop during that final turn. I get the same result when I try to retire from a game too. Also, this doesn't seem to be the same kind of CTD other people are reporting. If I save the game before the crash and try to replay the winning turn, I get the same crash every time. I haven't noticed anyone else talking about this particular crash, so I'm just hoping that the patch lets me eventually finish the game.

I share the same problem, unfortunately. I had to step out of a succession game because of movie playing issues and the terrain yield bug, which made me a hinderance to the team because I couldn't micro-manage effectively. Now I finish a solo game by using the governors and muddling through numerous CTD during game play, only to get a CTD at the victory stage. I'm done with this game for awhile -- too frustrating.
