The Andes Confederation
Background: The Andes Confederation began as Incaland, a small tribe inside the valleys of the Andes mountains. With the forging of the monarchy, the small tribe became the Kingdom of the Andes. Little development happened between this time and the construction of the Constitution and the capital of Cuzco. When the Andes Confederation was proclaimed, the first president, Leparte, and his successors, were continually elected over and over again. Many years of prosperous rule, strong military rivaling those even in Europe, and a people more diverse than any other country in South America. Opposing the American Alliance and its tyranny, the Andes Confederation joined the Asian Alliance. When the Zulu struck Africa, the Andes Confederation was there at the front line to protect freed peoples around the globe. As a beacon of Democracy, the Andes were changed to the United States of America. The USA then counter attacked the Zulu, invading the homeland and taking on the mass of the Zulu army while the Incans European allies concentrated in the Zulu vassals in the north. In the end, the Zulu government collapsed, leaving the Andes with a prosperous Empire. The USA had colonies in Arabia, North Africa, Fiji, Philippines and the most prosperous in South Africa. The South African colony was almost as large as mainland USA, and so was granted autonomy under a commonwealth. The USA then built up the infrastructure of the torn country, building it up to being one of the worlds most modern areas. Unfortunately, the country fell into civil war, and the USA evacuated the area. Soon after, the Philippines were granted Independence, the Fiji gained statehood, and the colony in Arabia was sold. With the formation of GDI and the counter alliance of INTO, the USA came onto hard times. With the destruction of the capital and many major cities by nuclear devices as a strike upon the USA for supporting its ally, the USSR, the nation fell into anarchy. New nations such as Colombia and Chile arose, and the Andes Confederation was redeclared under a dictator. The Andes Confederation again began to build up again, and after a series of wars and help from the Incans oldest ally, China, the nation was reunited save Venezuela and Haiti. Venezuela was then bought from the Aztecs, and the nation was declared united.
