Error Playing GOTM 40

It's my first GOTM game and I recently bought a Civ 3 Goal Edition(with the PTW expansion) The game saids it's 1.27F
I installed the full Mod patch.

The game was playing fine, but all of a sudden I guess this message saying.
"Missing Entry in PediaIcons.txt ANIMNAME_***_spartan_Hoplites" or something like that, anybody know what that is about? Thanks

Hi - welcome to CFC & the GOTM.

If you have PTW - then you don't need to install any mod packs - just load the PTW version of the save.

Have you played very many turns? If so, then I'll try and solve the errors. If you've played only a few (<10) , then you can start again with the PTW save, and just make sure you play the moves EXACTLY the same.

Its not really legit, but if its your first one, then we'll allow it.

Would I get some of the mods? Like have military support in the Republic Government and stuff like that?

Yes, the military support and other changes are there. PTW treats them as a scenario, so everything you need is included in the save file.

I too have CIV3 Gold and I play the GOTM everymonth with no problems.

The vanilla version 1.29f mods are just required for players like me who need them to add the civs and units to vanilla to play like PtW. All the rule changes are built into the starting save file you download.
