Escape From Zombie Island 2: The Remake

First thx for this quik help i´ve didnt expect that :)

Ok. I´ve tried that but the problem remains the same . It still says that the game has an error while loading this file .

thx for the help

Zombievirus... If you installed the CIV Games normally and have CIV III, Conquest and PTW, You can place the downloaded Files in your Conquest Scenarios Folder as they are when you downloaded them.
IF you get errors about the game not finding a file, you need to manually check to see that you do have that file in one of those games if it is a linked file in a Unit .INI File.

Open any Unit Folder in Units. Open the .ini File inside the unit folder. IF the Unit uses Links, it will have the name of the Unit it uses for .flc and or .wav files. You will see ..\ in the entry if it uses a link to another file. Look in your CIV III, Conquest or Play the World folders for the unit and make sure the file that you see in the .ini file is there.

IF you can find the file that your computer is trying to locate, you can place that file directly in the Unit Folder and change the .ini file so the entries state the File directly without links.

Normally this is not a problem but depending on your installation and where you place the Files, it makes a difference because the game "looks" in direct places for the Files and IF they are not there it does not know how to find them.

Hi, I´ve already done this , I copyed the files into the right folder and changed the path in the .ini files.

But the error remains the same :( . Civ seems to still searching in the orginal folder , i dont know why !

thx for further help

IF you removed the links in those unit .ini files, Make sure the Files that you placed in the Unit Folders are named in the .ini files correctly.
The File names have to be named the same as the files you place in the unit folders.

I am not sure what Errors you still get and unless you want to upload the .ini files, I have no way to know what you actually have.

The Game will search for files in the EFZI2 folder first. Then if the files are not there it will search the original CIV Game, Conquest and PTW.

File not Found

"Art\Units\romerozombie\..\Worker\WorkerMine.a mb" Remove the Space in .amb
..\Worker\WorkerMine.amb

File not found

"Art\Units\GlosterGladiator\..\Fighter\FighterBomb .flc" Remove the Space before .flc
..\Fighter\FighterBomb.flc

File not found

"Art\Units\Handy Man\..\Worker ModernTimes\WorkerModernDefault.flc ..\Worker Modern Times\WorkerModernDefault.flc this looks correct

Not sure why you would have any different ini files unless you changed them.
Here are some ini files...place each of them in the Unit folder with the same name and see if this corrects your problems.

Thx for the help !

the first 2 error lines with spaces are just typing errors ;)

I will try it with your ini files now ...

Well thanks for the help , i´m sure it´s a great mod it looks fantastic wish i could play it :(

cya guys thx again

Got it !

If you don´t own a english copy of this game like me , then you have to translate every folder in the original civ "art\units" to english .....

My basic civ 3 was not the english version just the conquest , that was my fault.

Ok thx again for everything cya

Still working on the Final Version... This has been a slow process due to the fact that I am doing all work on this game alone.
It was my intention to have it Ready for Release on June 1st (mainly as the anniversary Date when "The Remake" was released) but that is not enough time to complete all of the work I have to do to Finalize it.

There is no point to releasing the game before it is complete just to meet an anniversary "deadline". That would only create problems and the need for more Updates.

The Farmers and several other Game units need to be Remade so they Fit the game better. There are a few more new Units that I also want to make and add.

After I make the needed Units and Game Test to make sure everything in the game is as intended I will release this Final Version.

At this point I will just say that I am doing the best I can to complete the game.
...It will probably not be released this Summer due to the time required to accomplish all remaining work.

Went back to this after a few years of not because I finally found time.

Anyways, I find it an effective tactic to combine leader farming (a guide on the main page I think that details this), and using super-coups/transports. Then using them to do drive-by bombardments.

Also, I forgot how annoying the Civ III combat engine can be, as I've lost 4 heros already attacking zombies on streets and stuff when my heros were at full health. Oh well, nothing around that really.

Will post more when the game I am playing progresses some more.

Alright, playing at 12A difficulty, I don't find it particularly difficult at the moment. Sure, I lost like half my heros I had in the beginning to stupid things, (Master Vuldacon killed by 2 crawling brains ganging up on him, Abe killed when a zombie reached into the Rushmobile which was rescuing him and killed him, Hannibal/Mr.Tokugawa/Scraps by being unable to shoot/hack/bite a zombie in the face) but the number of leaders I've spawned is kinda disgusting almost. I've gotten like 3 turns in a row which I spawn 2 leaders.

Going towards the gameplay however, the zombies themselves advance at a steady pace. Every time I start to get comfortable with the newest zombie advances, the radio station falls, or out pops a more advanced zombie from one of their cities to keep me on my feet.

However, I really don't like the mines how they trigger wars because of AI stupidity. Also, after a certain point, they aren't worth building simply because they can spawn more zombies, counterproductive to what they are built for. Mutant zombies and their zombie nurse enslavement does get a bit annoying, as I sort of picture zombie nurses more of a special unit as opposed to an integral part of the zombie attack force. Also, monster dogs enslaving to nuclear dogs and the nuclear dog into mutant dogs and the pre-zombie dogs into each other, whilst all the other zombie dog units (in my mind "cannon zombies") go to other humanoid zombies sort of breaks the pattern (maybe mutant zombies for monster, nuclear zombie for the nuclear dog, and pre-zombie dogs into regular zombies?).

Other than those small points, I don't see much else that really needs addressing.

Bluemofia... The game you are playing is from over two years ago.
I have changed everything you mentioned other than Zombie Nurces. They are enslaved because the Zombies do not build them for Game play and unit reasons and I want to see them remain in the game.

Land Mines cannot be built but they are Auto Produced from an Improvement called the Explosives Room if built.
All Zombie Dogs enslave some type of Zombie rather than dogs.

Many Additions and Changes now but glad you still enjoy playing this version :)

Hehe, yeah, I came back to Civ III for this really. But yeah, I guess it's just my pre-conception of what the unit should be like that's getting in the way a bit.

Anyways, have you done much multi-player testing with this? Cause I'm going to be starting a PBEM game with a few other people with the version I've got, so it's probably going to be a bit interesting to see the results. (apparently, I'm the only one who can play the survivors decently in the group)

But other than that, still awaiting eagerly (if not patiently) for the final version. Best of luck. :)

Bluemofia... I have had no time to test Multi-player with this and actually have been doing a great deal of work for CCM and AoI...soon to be released.

...I like the Survivors too :)

Having a Few Problems to deal with concerning the game but hope to be back on Track soon. Corrupted Biq files and things to sort out lately...mainly from doing too much work on other things but needed a break to do something else after 3 years of constant effort.

Have a Few Units to make and add as well as Adjust all that needs adjusting... the only way I can easily say all That involves :)

Let me know how Multi-Player works... or not.

Well, I haven't started it yet, so I can test the newer version if it's not too much trouble.
