Escape From Zombie Island 2: The Remake

I eagerly :lol: downloaded the most recent EFZI file and installed it after deleting the old file.

Unfortunately, :mad:
the game gave me the following error message;

"Load Error
Error Reading File
Missing entry in "text\Pedialcons.txt": TECH_Year_Before_Zombies
The game will now exit"

what to do? :confused:
 
I reinstalled the EFZI2 into the folder and got it to work! :lol:

That is almost Four years old... I have been working on the Final Version since then and it is Far More. I am constantly working on it now and trying to have all complete and perfected this year.

And there was much rejoicing! :woohoo:

You tough in made a general zombie/Survivors/authorities mod?For differents outbreaks in other cities...

Yes, this game has gone through many changes since the first version.

I seriously believe when I have it finished, it will be one of the most Extreme and Fun Games of its kind.
Game testing over the past two months and adjusting the many New additions has proven to be all I intend so I can now focus on completing Units and any other Game addition.

I hope to be able to complete the desired units and then test play will require about four months if it stays in keeping with all past experience. That is because each faction must be test played and adjusted not only for them but also as each Faction affects all other Factions in the game. What people call Game Balance.

Although each of the Human Factions are battling the Zombies, they each have their own game specifics that present each as a different game. This creates a very complex mass of things to adjust so all are separate yet interact together well no matter what Faction a Player wants to play or the AI plays.

There are so many additions there is no good way to state any comparison. It will be recognized as EFZI2 but on a Grand Scale and not only far more perfected but Perfected period. Not Overlooking anything. This will be EFZI2 Complete... The thought did occur to me to call it EFZI2 Elite because players will need to seriously play well to stop the Zombies. Over Kill Power for Humans and Zombies throughout the game. Despite the Lethal Bombardment = Shooting Units, The Zombies have Fantastic Power and know how to use it :)

I am Very Excited about it too and it is going to be as excellent as I can make it.

Also, I should try to push to get some kind of EFZI0 beta out soon, since I think it's nearly ready for peoples' feedback :)
 
The Company got a little tired of seeing zombies roaming around their buildings (not to mention those peskie Authorities hoarding City Hall, the Police and Radio Stations). That said they arranged a "hostile takeover" of Authority assets:

Tank Guy#3... You Won that in Great Time. Game Testing as the Survivors, for a Conquest Win has required an average of 48 hours now :) Of course that is Test Evaluating play.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell I did it exactly. I did have insane luck getting heroes early on, which helped me bombard the hell out of zombie buildings. I'd imagine a conquest victory would've taken much, much longer to achieve.

Update: Started a new game as the Survivors. My run of luck has continued, as I've driven the zombies out of all but the Cemetery in the western part of the city. As for the eastern front, the line was running straight south from the Furniture Store to the Hardware Store (which I just recently took, then lost on the zombies turn).

Vuldacon, the Master Ninja, managed to take the Hardware Store, and fight off a screech (the brain thing?). Unfortunately, he was killed (those zombie bastards!) trying to fight off a wave of monster zombies. The badasses couldn't get there in time to reinforce him.

Vuldacon the Master Ninja's death has been avenged (his unit in game)! My survivors have captured both the Cemetary , the Church and the Radio Station (unintentional war sparked by the Authorities attacked KingArthur).

Also, we are hitting the Factory VERY hard, and it is likely to fall to us soon.
 
I was hoping to hear this was still be worked on. The screen shot from Tank Guy puts me in mind of Red Alert. I may have to fire up the ants map, if I can remember how to play it still.

I don't know many details, but I have heard from Vuldacon fairly recently that there is still a big update in the works, and knowing his talent for modding the game, it should be one helluva treat when it's released :goodjob:

OT: Those ants are way overpowered.
 
Tank Guy#3... Glad to read that you are still having some fun playing the Last version.

I am still Game Testing and adjusting. Have been doing that over two months now and just finished another Test Game. More adjustments are needed but coming along well. Extreme Power for the Human Player that builds up especially after Zombiegeddon so I am setting the Zombies Very Strong as well as making adjustments to slow the capturing of too many Zombie buildings early.
 
Hey guys!

I downloaded yur scenario afew weeks but only the other day had a chance to try it out and well its pretty impressive :), been playing the Authorities and after 8 days been holding out in the City Hall, the Police and the Radio Station while my units on the eastside of the island slowly take over the zombie infested cities.
Playing yur scenario kinda gave me afew ideas of my own which i know bit cheaky but im very interested to know where u found them city terrains? More so the apartment blocks (Found some of pounders ruins). Thanks in advance and lookin forward to your next installment :)
