Estonian Civilazation (WIP)

It is possible. Check more civilizations' buccaneers. Their UI does the same.
(Also, bog's description shouldn't be part of the text)

Oh, I know a lot of people. But they have tasks of their own... :p

I might be able to make one some time in the next couple days, can you give me a reference map?

For reference just google "eesti kaart".. Usually they have marked 2 kinds of borders for Estonia.. First kind is current de facto border and second one is de iure border that is based on previous border treaty after Independence war and on fact that you can't do what Russia did..changing border for your benefit turning occupation.. Because of that they technically occupy chunk of Estonia illegally even today..

If you want to make it even more glorious then you can google "vabadussõda kaart".. At the hight of the war Estonia conquered and liberated Riga (Latvian capital) and got very close to Petrograd (St. Petersburg)..

(sry I can't use links.. Don't have lap top with me turning a small trip to countryside..)

This actually sounds like a really cool civilization with the things you have for the civ. Keep up the work on this and I actually might download it once it is finished.

It's possible to mod in a National Wonder that is not technically unique to a civilization but requires the unique building of said civilization? That is great news! Now I just have to learn how to do that...

On Topic: Your Estonia civilization looks great! I love that you are working to make a civilization take advantage of an otherwise "useless" terrain! I would love to play as Estonia on a wet map and see what I can do with all the marsh.

Lookout world, Athena Prime will have a Digital Oracle (+30% Science in City, +1 Gold, must have built Holo Temple in all cities) after she researches Computers!

Making a similar thing doesn't mean that you know how to do that.. Also please restrain yourself from advertising your civs.. especially when it has very little to do with modpage to where you are posting..

Estonia will be perfect on that kind of maps :)

Thanks for the advice. I apologize for speaking out of turn.

After a quick search around the web, it seems that your WIP mod is accurate (as far as I can tell that can be implemented in Civ 5) to Estonia. I don't know much about balance but I like the unique specialization and trade-offs Estonia will have.

Good to hear that I made someone more interested about Estonia and its history :)

Chnaged Civ Icon (again).. This time it will be most likely final..
I changed it mainly because last one gave a feeling of more militarily focused civ.. Probably most of you can already guess that I want Estonia to be more defensive and cultural civ than offensive one..

Glad your making progress with this - looking forward to seeing it released :).

One thing I have to say though, is that in my opinion you should really avoid using a colour scheme where the background colour is black-ish.. (Let it be known that I myself at some point for one of my civs chose a close-to-black background colour, but changed it partly because it looked very CS-like in game and partly because it was heavily criticised when I first posted the icon.)

In any case, great work so far..

I will see.. Maybe I will use white for backround..
..that of course depends on how many other users hate current color sceme..
