[Battle with the Hungarians]
"There they are m'lord...A nice force to the eye.But easilly destroyable" Harold informed Erik.Harold was a general in Erik's mighty army.Notably admirable for his efforts...He was one of the best generals in the world at his time.
"They are on the hill though..And setting up for a deffencive stance."replied Erik who deffinetly knew his game as well.
"Nevertheless...We'll make good waste of them m'lord...Shall we go as our previously discussed plan?"
"Of course...We will do fine in this battle" Erik said sternly with a pat on Harolds back.
Then movement was heard threwout the camp..They were attacking the Hungarians.There was 2 force's 1 led by Erik and 1 led by Harold.Erik led his force's to the east of the hill to circle around while Harold led his force's to confront them.Harold had now 3000 men with him and Erik 2000...The rest were left on deffence threwout the kingdom.

Harolds force's started battle with the enemy quicklyrouting them from the start.The enemy was fleeing by time Erik's force's started going uphill....And into Erik's force's the fleer's went...Many surrendered where Erik let them go after taking their weapons.Some say Erik's mercy was unexplainable as he was both the spiller of blood and the most forgiving man at the time.

[After that in a fortress in he middle of the colony]
"Victory in the Mediteranean m'lord" Said his son,now acting as his informant.
"Good...By now the poop thinks we're coming after him HAHA!" replied Erik the Might...6 feet tall and weighing 190lbls.Rumors had it that he had killed 1000 men by himself in all...To his enemies he was feared,to his friends he was respected.He was deffinetly a descendant of Ragnar Savag the Ironfist.

"Hmmm..."
"They destroyed our whole navy too!"
"Alright....Here's what we'll do" said Erik now going to the table with a map and many unitlike figures on it...He discussed the plan with Amon Savag II and went on about their normal days.

as the Vile backstabbings and Trickery of the Heathens Failed to harm the God Blessed Kingdom of Franks , the Ranks of the Frankish army swelled with recruits from all nations that dreamt to fight and die for this most holy cause , the Norwegians navy was annihilated , that ment that the norwegians would have a hard time to supply or move their army, the only minor setbacks were in england were the bad weather caused the Frankish Horsemen to Fail to take advantage of their mobility and lost some territories to the Northumberlandians.
the only thing that thruly worried the Queen was that the Norwegian managed to take the weakly defended Corsica and Sardegna and could theoretically strike to the Hearh of Our Faith itself , the Pope , to defend him would now become top priority.

I realize I kind of ignored the other cuontries besides Andorra, France, and Norway in that update. I'll make another "update" for the same year a lil' later.

King Matti was worried about 2 things.
1. The Norwegians where now a few short days away from the Papacy
2. The economy right now was terrible.

Luckily the construction of the Great Marcetplace of Helsinki would improve his economy ( I started this last turn and i need to know how many turn it takes)
But improving the economy in Helsinki wouldnt be enough he desided to start a wide building of marcetplaces and roads all over the Finnish empire.

About the Norwegians he knew that if the papacy was innvaded he would have no choice but to innvade Norway.
He still hoped that the conflict could be resoveld peacefully but he feared it had gone to far.

The wars of Europe frightened the citizens of Germany constantly. The fears that the aggressive demegouges that started the conflicts would come to Germany did not go away. The economy of Germany grew and grew as men of all nations died in droves. Being rich didn't mean that Germans were protected. It only made a bigger target for evildoers. Therefore, the vast wealth would be used to expand the army to protect the peaceful Germans from the rampages of the outside world.

Europe 620 A.D.

Much happens throughout the European world. Especially in Western Europe, where war still rages on. In England, bloody battle after bloody batlle occurs. Both the Northumberlandese and the Franks lose many men, but unlike the French, the Northumberlandese have reinforcements fed to the front monthly.

Small contigents from various nobles who have accepted Protestantism, they soon add up and actually give a boost to the ever growing army of William I, the rebellious. The Northumberlandese economy goes down however. In their many retreats, the French burn everything in their path. Thousands of farms and towns are destroyed, the land that is left practically worthless.

The French apparently are less interested in keeping England, as they are in defending their homeland. Several ships have left the French naval blockade to escort horseman to Flevoland, the piece of land between Germany and Belgium. Why they did this was unknown for a while. What was known however, is that the French have no real port to resupply their naval blockade. If they lose London, their mighty naval blockade will be stranded.

Meanwhile, in Belgium, the Norwegians quickly fortify themselves, making a fortress, "Krak des Norskies". From there, they quickly rush down into Northern France. The untrained French forces are pushed back and the Norwegians are only a short distance from Paris! However, there is still much hope for France. The contignent of Horseman from England has attacked fortreess Krak des Norskies and utterly destroyed it's half-finished walls. They quickly march down towards the Norwegians... an epic battle seems to be in place.

Meanwhile in Germany, pressure rises on the king to do something. The arrival of Norwegians near the Vatican has led to riots, and the new border with the French prompt many call for military aid to their Catholic friends. The King raises the army, building swordsman, nearly of the same quality as the Burgundian ones enlisted in the Frankish forces.

In Finland, the situation is very similar. Finland's predominantly Catholic population demands the king do something. In response, the army in Sweden is mobilized, while the economy reaches new heights back in Helsinski.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East, after years of war, the Byzantines make peace with the Sassanids. Both their economies are utterly devastated, but the news seems worthless in Europe. Untill the Byzantines invade Italy that is. A large force of Byzantines lands outside the Vatican and lays siege to Rome! French reinforcements arrive, but the Catholics are slightly outnumbered.

In the barren lands of Iceland, a brand new kingdom emerges. That of.... Iceland. The Icelanders are a seafaring people, related closely to the Norwegians, having a similar religion, who arrived there many years ago. Nobody is sure what their position in the current conflict is.

And in the Arabian peninsula, some sort of political explosion takes place. A man named Mohammed claims to be the prophet of a new religion named Islam. For the past few decades he's been quietly gathering supporters, untill today when he controlls all Arab lands. He sends many letters to the surrounding rulers asking them to convert.

One other note. The Krigers, a Norwegian Unique Unit, are completed and fortified in Norway, scaring the begeezers out of the local populace.

As Erik and his reached the top of the hill...There was a glimps of Paris to be seen...He looked at it and saw that maybe the Franks would settle for peace now...Maybe he was wrong...But it was worth a try....Erik now weary from war...His men still wanted to keep going for they were gaining much plunder...But the other side couldn't be enjoying this...Erik wanted to talk peace with the enemy,being the honorable mericful man he was.

If peace wasn't reached he had a great many plans still up his sleeve in which he could use...And so he would...Erik Savag seemed unstoppeable for his uncle schooled him well,with the Krigere now at his side he was sure to be able to deffend his homeland from any foreign attacks and keep the war against the Franks on full time,with Northumberland taking England.

the Frankish defensive war in England went well , Burgundian losses were in comparison minimal and the Nortumberlandians payed a high price for every acre of land they gained , burned acre that is , becouse the ingenious frankish generals decided to burn everything before letting it fall into those devil worshippers hands rendering their gains practically worthless.

on the homefront thing well too , the frankish horsemen attack from the back was flawless , killing many Norvegians warriors and destroyed the mighty "Krak des Norskies" , now the norwegians had no real base of operations anymore and a huge part of their shrinking ammount of supplies that was based there was destroyed too.

on the Papal Front the foreing legion arrived to defend the Vatican , news of the Norwegian and Byzantine threaths against the home of our faith increased the ammout of faithfull people that joined the legion , for they all knew that they would be the ones to fight and save our faith should the infedels dare to attack.

the Franks allso remainden masters of the northsea , their mighty naval fleet had prevented any supply from reaching the Norwegians for over 20 years now.
