I see you attended the Glenn Beck school of rhetoric.
So, addressing the ARTICLE...RTFA ...:
The ARTICLE mentions that no high-rise has ever collapsed due to a disaster, except for one: the 1985 Mexico City earthquake collapse. Skyscrapers have endured full-on infernos (such as Madrid), and jet crashes (such as Tehran), and never collapsed. Then in a single day 3 buildings collapsed--one of which was never hit by a plane. Even supposing jet fuel was the cause (which apparently the barbarian terrorists knew would happen even though it has never happened before and never happened since), it goes to follow that physicists are going to want to figure out what went wrong, so as to avoid future loss of life.
Yes, the ARTICLE does repeat that point in the conclusion. That is not Glenn Beck (I have never read a white paper of his, nor do I know if one even exists); that is standard writing style of a scientific white paper. I realize Klingon warbirds from outer space is the sound science, and not Europhysicsnews, but that is what Europhysicsnews accepted in their peer review.
