Why can't the contest feature actual popular bands from the countries? I suppose the bands wouldn't really want to participate anyway, out of fear of being tarnished (someone has to come last, and a few more near last).
But having collections of trash music is pointless too.

Giving you a like but think i disagree
If you go for metal - play metal, not some weird mix of blastbeats & growls combined with lots of slow passages.
They aimed at let's play something for "everyone", but forgot that metalheads rarely like that..and many others just dismiss that kind of music, you are not winning them over.

I wouldn't vote for that either tbh..despite being metal.
