I'm back online finally.
After all of the crap that I went through with my comp, my C drive died.
I took my comp into a different computer store, and now finally (HOPEFULLY!), the nightmare is over.
If nothing else, I found a new comp store for any emergencies. They're great! 
I know that I keep saying this, but stay tuned, sports fans!

I've got CivAssistII and MapFinder installed. I'm going to have to un-install C3C, and re-install the game to see if I can get Sn00py's Terrain as the default Terrain. Wish me luck!

I don't want to jinx it, but I'm definitely getting closer to starting the next game. I figured out what I was doing wrong trying to get Sn00py's Terrain as the default terrain. Silly me! 
I was copying the mod into the basic game Art folder, not the Conquests-Art folder. The Smileys are working.
Keep your eyes peeled (though that sounds extremely painful).
I just hope you're still talking to me. Is there anybody out there?

I still miss the first game.
We're still here ... the first game was fun, with a lot of good back-n-forth,
both about the game and about the people. We'll get back into it again,
esp. if you name the units like you did last game.
The last time I played Japan, I ended up naming cities after Japanese
brand names: Toyota, Matsushita, Yamaha, Nintendo, Sony ... Pikachu.

I will be moving near the end of May. An opportunity presented itself, and it was too good to pass up!
There is so much for me to do within the next 30 days or so . . .
I really feel like I'm jerking you good people around. (I wish that there was an 'I'm sorry' Smiley.) Suffice it to say, I am sorry that the next game hasn't started (and probably finished) by now.
