See the user settings file in the mod's folder - and no, you'll need to start a new game.
 
The whole Fishing fiasco is to do with CulDiv's starting bonuses iirc. Disable those.
... So what, CulDiv + ExCE with Southern culture type civs is no go atm?
 
So is ExCE pretty much rekt? I can't use it cause of some corps bug, not V18 and not V19 that he posted over here. I see some civs don't work will with it any way if you use CulDiv. I sent Lua, database and xml files like I was told to but I don't think ill get a fix or an answer soon. :(

CulDiv starting bonuses and CBP. So no problem for us :p
 
Thanks Christy. I disabled the starting bonuses for all Civs, which is a shame, but at least I can play a Venice game and the units can embark.

Hope a fix is found soon. I really liked the flavour of the starting bonuses in my Rome and Germany games.

Edit: just seen that this is a CBP problem. Is that something JFD fixes or are CulDiv/CBP incompatibility bug zapping not a priority?
 
He's tried to fix it quite a few times, but it never seems to have worked. Anyway, you realise you're using CulDiv for the era splash art, right? :p
 
Rule of Thumb: If your using CBP, expect a lot of things from JFD's gameplay mods to be disabled or not work.

Second Rule of Thumb: If you have to choose between JFD mods and CBP, you pick the former every time.

Third Rule of Thumb: If you have to choose between vanilla or CBP, you pick the former every time.

3. No? I mean, is anyone else noticed how boring is the actual game? Mods (for me at least) are literally half of the playing experience, whatever they might be.

(Plus many people like the CBP tbh)

You need to update your version of the CBO. You are using the Community Balance Patch, but you need the Community Balance Overhaul. There is nothing wrong with ExCE (well the attrition thing might've been broken somewhere along the line, but otherwise...)

I can only fix the Southern starting bonus by changing it, but I haven't really heard any viable suggestions, that is, ones that are in line with the rest.

Not sure where to post this as it involves 2 mods (CID & EXCE):

Just found a city on another continent with a Great Scout (EXCE) but instead of a colony (CID) it only becomes a puppet (earlier my settler found a city on my own continent that did become a colony so that part works). I assume the intention is that also with a Great Scout a city should become a colony?

I know it's a bit late, but I'm also having issues annexing a tribe. Here's a picture of the situation.

My Great Explorer is healed, and is on top of the tribe's building (forgot the name of it, it got covered up in my growing city's sprawl. I added my LUA log too.

Thanks for the help! I love the mod. I love the resources, I love the more difficult exploration in the early game, and the tribes are a cool addition.

Edit: I tried making a new Great Explorer (by using the free Great Person from the Leaning Tower of Pisa) and that also had the same issue.

Minor CBO Compatibility thing: Baths and Gardens are no longer mutually exclusive buildings, so Opium shouldn't get yields from both. At least gameplaywise, it should probably be the Garden, which is now buildable in all cities, whereas Baths are river only (and even then aren't must builds in noncore cities).

Also in the ModSupport for Resources, Opium has YIELD_FOOD twice for Gardens instead of a YIELD_FOOD and a YIELD_GOLD like the Bath has. I guess these two things kinda cancel each other out currently, but I think it should ultimately be 1 food and 1 gold on Gardens only.

This isn't related, but I play with the Jaegar unit you made for Germany instead of the Panzer, and I find it works much better for Marathon speed. Thanks for creating it!
 
None of the attrition immunities seem to be working, even the technology granted ones. I'm not sure if that would show up in a log or I would post it.
