Unless you PM a moderator and ask for it to be closed, that decision is not yours. They will close it if you ask (I doubt there's going to be a lot of opposition to that) or if they deem it to be unproductive.

How do you PM a moderator and who are the moderators of the forums?

The moderators and admins are listed here.

There used to be a list of Off-Topic moderators in OT, but that seems to be gone now. For answers to questions about the forum, it's best to ask in the Site Feedback subforum.

Moderators have blue badges under their names. Super Moderators have orange badges. Admins have red badges. Anyone with a green badge like mine used to be a moderator, but we are not moderators now.

Keep in mind that the list in Site Feedback might not be up to date. Since there are several mods and an admin who regularly post here in OT, it's easiest to just PM one of them if you have questions.
