Never mind I found out how to get quests!
Drizzt avoid beneficial spells like heal and fleet of foot
Yes, that is the downside of spell resistance. That is not a bug and is as intended.
The loot button appears to crash the game if you have a unit standing on the loot tile when you click it. I have completed the Leper quest three times now, twice I've had a unit standing on the tile and it crashed, the one time I managed to loot without a crash there was no unit on the tile. I hope that helps.
Unfortunately, that's not the issue. Very often you can loot when a unit inhabits the tile. And the two crashes I've seen were when the treasure button was not even in white fog. So it's still a mystery. I'm thinking I'll just get rid of treasure, items and things like that. Will be a better scenario...
Moving arround the map is very slow since there are many forests, hills, marshs and stuff. Maybe you should increase the move of units by 1!
Already done for next version. And I increased speed boosts for several spells and items.
Its a cool map, maybe you should add it to the main game.
Upon completing Stronghold of the nine by building hunting camp over the 3 vermins it say an other archway have opened but I cant see it.
Updated Sword Coast Scenario to Beta v.2, available in top post.
Added Hero Icons
Left click hero portrait to select the hero
Right click to open the Heroes info screen
When a unit is transformed, a smaller panel will display the relevant icon (see Jaheira unit below in screenshots)
The icons may not display on first loading a game.
Heroes now have 4 base movement, but all enemies also gain +1 movement.
Beta v.2 is a UI enhancement and will not affect your saved games.
EDIT: I may have found a solution to the click treasure icon crash. I only tested about 150 click events, so I'm not certain. But further reports would be welcome.
Since beta 2 i got 2 chest crashs. Never happen with beta 1. I always save before opening a chest and get no crash after reloading so I havent been able to reproduce whatever is doing it.
Also, I said to myself how am I going to do that bleu dragon but then a second one appear!
Never mind the dragon, I found an easy way to do it.
Updated to Beta v.3, which now includes the Gambling Tent. Available via link in top post. This is a UI enhancement and will in no way affect your saved games.
To access the gambling tent, move your leader into the labelled tile. See screenshot below for location.
Also, I think I have finally found the solution to the bizarrely random treasure icon crash.
Am I the only one who cannot see screenshots? It shows gray circle with a brick in it, like a stopsign.
Thanks for your continued effort on the mod.
Is it intentional that I cannot move past Nevervinter via bridge, and have to go all the way around? It looks strange and unhandy.
You are right, when i come from the south its harder.
No, it's about the field of vision. In the particular case you are referring to, if your unit has +2 vision they can see the plot on the far side of the city, and thus move through the Minor into that plot. However, all hero units have base +1 vision, so in order to move into some plots you'll need a vision enhancer, like Truesight or Moonfire (available as a quest reward for your leader).
I just have another chest crash. Is the loot decided before or after its clicked?
Yes version 3.
Sword Coast Scenario Beta v.4 is available via link in top post.
Adds Triboar Abbey, an alternate method for resurrecting heroes in a centralized location. To access, move your leader into the labelled tile. Dead heroes will return to life near the Abbey, not in their home town as is the case when you resurrect from the Heroes screen.
This is a UI update only, and will in no way affect your saved games.
This is the final Beta update. A completed version with all content will be available here and on Steam by this Saturday.
