For God's only
Spoiler :
Ok, Thomas. I'm just finishing my part up so I'll do that.

Also, does anyone know why there are tons of barbarian Treants rampagin on the other continents? It looks like they're going to kill of the Bannor and Balseraphs pretty soon.

Spoiler :
Two remnants of Patria? Belseraphs endangered? I better do something next turn. Maybe Korias live next to improbability device. In fact, that might be a perfect excuse for me deleting horses and why there are corns labeled 'corns' at that place. Suddenly, the ground opened up and a Chimera escaped from Mammon's hell, which also dragged all the horses in. However, the ground was rotted just right to be able to support plant life. I need to take crazy pills now. The natives were amazed and they called their new cornfield, corn. Than suddenly they all figured out the secrets of Life, The Universe, And Everything and they were all blown to pieces by slugs that appeared in a big yellow ship from the sky:crazyeye:

Spoiler :

That's me messing things up again. I added some treants to spice exploration up, but I haven't set them as AI_Animal. Now I will have to find them one by one, set them right and fix up the damage they caused to B'n'B. Great.

But what's with the freaking field of shipwrecks? I haven't messed with this one.

For Gods only

Spoiler :
Ok, I wasn't sure if the Treant carnage was accidental. I'll turn them back to unitcombat animal. One of the Treants took the Balseraph capital. I've given Korias meteors that will make the capital undefended again, allowing the Balseraph to take it back. So this accident actually caused a neat little moral choice; help the Balseraphs for diplo bonus, or leave them to fight it out on thier own for a diplo penalty. Perfect type of manipulation for Cerdiwen.

@Thomas - done

NFKE:

Spoiler :
Oh, so Amathaon added those treants?

Decius will be given the tools to remove that thing, if I'm not going to remove it myself. He seems a bit down on his luck, so he's going to get some help. I'm likely going to have him found the Order: I doubt Valledia will be going for it.

Of course, that's because Valledia still is walking the line between good and evil. Valledia doesn't seem to want to go all-in but keeps making small bets on either side. With the rise of the late religions coming up this might be changing soon, though.

Hear me, Valledia of the Amurites. You may have heard of me, but you do not truly know me. I am the one referred to as the Angel of Magic, Goddess of the Dimensional Sphere, and the Queen of Despair. All of these names suit me, but like any name, reveal only a pale shadow of my true self. You will call me Cerdiwen, or if you prefer, Master.

Of you, Valledia, I require only one thing: your complete unquestioning obedience. This continuing obedience, however, is not to some ever changing whim, book of laws, or obscure moral principles; in fact, it can be summarized in one simple statement: “Treat others however you wish.” That is all I ask of you.

In return, I will grant you a level of power that has been known to only one other mortal. Yes, don’t think I come to the Amurites for no reason at all; I know that the blood of Kylorin flows in your veins and you have the capacity to rule the world as he did. Remember, Valledia, it was I who granted him dominion over all creation and I who stripped away his power after he betrayed me.

I will grant you that same power if stay true to my one command. Kill others if you wish. Shows mercy and befriend others if you wish. Betray them later if you wish. But remember, whatever action you take, do it because it is what you want to do, not because you allow someone else to influence you. This is the secret to true power in this world; when you budge for no one you become immovable.

I have given each of the Erebusian nations a scrying stone to let each leader test him or herself against the rest. Without my help, it would take hundreds of years for the nations to meet one another, and I simply don’t have that much time to waste. Of course, I have given you each only selective knowledge, so don’t think your dominance of your peers means there is no one more skilled you have not yet met.

Finally, I have given you a test, to see if I have been correct in my earlier judgment of your character. One of your neighbors has fallen into trouble with the barbarian hordes, and her capital city has fallen to the invaders. I have given you the necessary resources to reconquer that city for your fellow ruler (but not the necessary forces to capture it for yourself – I think I know you better than that Valledia.) Of course, you always could leave the city to the horde, and cripple the opposing nation. On the other hand, I am quite sure your fellow nation would be most gracious to you after the return of their capital, giving you a steadfast ally. There are your two choices - heed my former advice. Act not to please me, act to please yourself. Don't think that any one choice is correct; crippling an opposing nation because you fear them is just as cowardly and pathetic as saving them because you fear them. Most important is your intentions -what has motivated you to make your choice. I will be watching you maked this decision Valledia, and I will decide whether you are a coward who trembles before even the weakest of gods, or that rare being who is brave enough to act only for herself.

For the God's eyes only

Spoiler :

I added 1 "scrying stone" (meteor that can't move and will die next turn) for each nation next to the borders of another nation so that each civ will meet two more civs this turn. Korias has met the Bannor and the Clan.

In addition, I gave an interesting choice to Korias. The Balseraph capital had been conquered by one of those uber-powerful rampaing treants named "dragon-tree." I gave the barb-captured city four warriors, placed a Balseraph warrior with city_attack combat script next to the city, and gave Korias 4 meteors next to the city. Korias can choose to do nothing, and let the barbs keep the city, or kill the barb defenders, allowing the Balseraphs to retake their capital (I tested this part, they do successfully retake it if Korias' meteors attack at all.) If he doesn't help the Balseraphs, his reward will be a weakened foe. If he does, then his reward will be a huge diplomacy bonus with the Balseraphs. I don't care what choice he makes, just how he justifies/explains that choice.

I also made a lot of little changes. I added Thomas' "Speaker of Tali" warrior. I placed him on the ancient forest with clams because I figured that is the kind of place one of Tali's servants would hail from.

I also changed the Treants to unit_combat scipt animal to end their spree of conquest. I deleted the one near the Balseraphs and recreated him farther away because he had been so deep in cultural borders that even with the new combat script he still accidentally captured cities on his way out. Finally, I gave the Bannor capital a few more warriors because I didn;t trust the RNG to get them through their 1 warrior vs. 1 lizardman battle. I think all the nations are safe from the Treants now, although there is an abundance of barbs on this map that could become problematic in the future since IIRC, this is a pretty low-level game.

Okay, that's freaky, now civilizations are appearing and disappearing to and from the map. I smell Aifon conspiracy. Or it might be another one of those infinite improbability device again.

P.S. Korias, as the god of Greed, I advise you to maintain good relations with the Belseraphs, maintaining good relations are essential to a good trading agreement.

That's... weird. Is somebody editing them out, or are Barbs taking them down?

Um?

who removed the other Amurites? I had plans for them.

I know I didn't remove them, but it is very possible they were captured by barbs. What was the name of their city? - We can find out if they were conquered by finding their city and seeing if it was just conquered or if it was deleted. Weirdly enough, their leader is still in the world builder list.

What other civs are gone? Is it just the other amurites? If any civs had been killed of by barbs Korias would have noticed the pop-up in game. I'm not sure if this counts for the other amurites because their leader probably has no pre-set death pop-up message.

Edit: God's only

Spoiler :

I think I might have found the other amurites. Was their only city the Amurite Rebels city that is now under control of the barbs? I had noticed that city before (it had way too many buildings to get those naturally) but figured that somebody had just been supercharging the barbs to make it harder for Korias. The city is bordering the southern most tip of Korias' nation (and currently beating him in a culture war.

The City names would have been Udenarat and Nimrail. Those two are the ones founded after Cevedes, and Ciriail is the fourth on the list. So considering I, the other Amurites player, didnt found them, it stands to reason that they were the ones under Ostanes's rule.

I checked the map and couldn't find any barb cities with those names. It seems the only possiblity is that someone deleted those cities. I am suspicious of the city "Amurite Rebels." Did I miss an event that created that city because it seems a very likely candidate to be a member of a different amurite civ.

Spoiler Um, about the second Amurites :
I kind've hit them with a tidal wave earlier, and apparently they did not survive the drowns I left near their capital. Odd, because when I played through the save they still managed to survive. I guess your just the victim of me with the RNG, sorry

I think that city came from one of the God's wrath because I ignored their quest. Probably Aeron.

(Which reminds me. I violated his quest when I took the Barb City)

But yeah, I'll grab the save tomorrow around 4:30 again. So everybody, make your changes, your updates to the quests, and anything else you want.

Spoiler :
I knew it was right to suspect Aifon conspiracy, the Aifons have returned to reclaim their land! :) (sarcasm)
