Fall from Divine Intervention I: Amurite Analogies

For Kenken and NOT Korias

Spoiler :
Are you sure this quest is even possible? the Sheaim most definately is rushing for AV, and Bradeline's well is, by the last time I checked, located in another continent. Destroying it in the first 150 turns is impossible, and Korias probably cannot do it in the next 150 turns either. If I am mistaken about the Well, tell me.

Not for Puny Nemed-children named Korias's eyes:

Spoiler :
I created a second bradeline's well on Korias's continent. that is the one I am referring to. the origional bradilines well has already been destroyed already, I believe. The sheaim will only rush for AV once they get philosophy, normally they beeline sorcery or something else late.

...

At dawn, Aethen's small raiding band has returned from the amurite rebel settlement. This time, the capture was substantial. An entire supply caravan has been returned. The elven scout entered the main office of the city hall of Ninismal and greeted the plump figure that stood across the room.

'Good morning!'

'How good can it be? There's a horde of lizardmen and skeletons on the loose in our lands, there's a crazy cult of weird fish-smellers spreading through our cities and the ELVES are getting closer and closer to our borders. When are you going to stop? Are you going to claim our forests too?'

'You can let your guard down, mayor... I know not the intentions of my kin. I have been travelling a lot these past months and have lost touch with Amelanchier. I would be glad to go back home and find some answeres to your question, but I seem to have my hands full with these teasing raids.'

'Yes, yes! Tell me... How went your little hunt?'

'We recovered a full caravan of supplies. Someone from inside the borders must be helping them. Your people don't seem too happy with your leadership.'

'But...'

'I also discovered on the way back that we had a new companion. This man said his name is Congo Levi. I can tell he's a Doviello. Actually I can even smell him from here. Shady fellow, said his master sent him to see Valledia and let her know that she lacks the subtlety he holds so dear, so he sent some help. Don't know what that means, but I've already sent a messenger to the capital with his complaints.'

...

Spoiler :
Ok, I gave Korias supplies and a named Javelin Thrower with 'weak'. He will stay weak until the discovery of archery. I also helped the Balseraph by gifting them a number of swordsmen. Also made some minor tweaks here and there...

If all the gods have made their changes, then I will grab the save later today, around 5:00 PM EST.

Brugarian, what save did you use? I noticed it is missing at least my changes, possibly other people's as well.

Sorry Korias, I think you might want to wait until this is sorted out.

Edit: I just went through the last four saves starting with mine. It goes MasterofDisaster - Algeroth - Lade - Brugarian.

No one objected to my save, so I assumed it contained all the previous changes for this turn and was therefore the legitimate save. Algeroth clearly based his save off mine. However, Lade's save does not contain my changes, so I believe that save caused the current discrepancy. I believe Bruagrian's save was based off of Lade's because it contains Lade's change but none of my changes.

Therefore, I think Algeroth's save should be considered the last legitimate save. If no one objects, I'll just put Lade and Brugarian's changes into Algeroth's save and post what will hopefully be an accurate combination of both files.

Double Edit: I'm not sure what all of Brugarian's changes were (mentions 'minor edits') but I'll do my best to carry out the explained changes. Feel free to disregard my attempt to rectify the saves if Brugarian would rather do it. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, I'm just doing this in the interest of time since Korias said he wanted to play this soon.

Triple Edit (at least it's not a triple post): Ok, I did all of Lade and Brugarian's changes that I could. I replaced Lade's change - I removed the octopus shrine and placed a source of water mana in that city's big fat cross. I placed the javelin thrower and supplies that Brugarian had created. I didn't place any swordsmen for the Balseraphs since my earlier edit had already substantially reduced the threat that they face. All of these changes were applied to Algeroth's save. This save has incorporated all the major edits from the two divergent save paths so hopefully we can use this one as the main save for the next edit/play.

Yes, this save has all the changes that were significant enough to be mentioned so it should be fine. I can't wait for the next update. :)

Ok. I'll nab the save, get to playing, and post the lengthy update. Now with 50% more story content.

After I finish this project. I get to do a poster about Mind Uploading for Biology. Should take maybe an hour to finish up.

Oh, poop... Korias is playing, right? I did have some nasty surprizes here and there because I AM the angel of deception. I'll just have to screw up his game later. Don't anger me further, mortal. :)

I love surprises. Still, it would help if I knew what you wanted

I believe he wants to be more 'subtle' when you ask that :crazyeye:

Ah... missed the update. Geez I'm slow.

Don't worry Korias; you still have a reward due, and because I've been late you'll get some interest on the reward, with inflation and changing circumstances taken into account. ;)

I wont be back till noon sunday Pacific Time

Spoiler gods only (changes for nect round, I will be gone until 20th) :

Give the Balseraph four Warriors with Mind I, Channeling I.
Give the Bannor four Archers with Spirit II (not I).
Give the Clan two Axemen with Combat I+II, Fire II (not I).
Create two barbarian warriors and two barbarian lizardmen on Korias' continent - they should all have these promotions:
Channeling I, Channeling II.
The warriors should have:
Body I, Earth II.
The Lizardmen should have:
Nature I, Nature II.

If he completes my former quest (2 mageguilds, 2 adepts):
Give him two more adepts, give them all four a Mind I promotion.

Hmm... Korias have been quiet lately, is it because of our divine assertion that he write stories?

I certainly hope not. I would feel pretty guilty since I did sort of demand one. But then again maybe I shouldn't feel guilty: I would be living up to my role as a crazy manipulative godess. :D

Well, no, I'm here. For the most part, however, my computer decided now would be a perfect time to crash. Computer is repaired, but nearly everything was lost.

I did get the save back, and have played. But I lost most of the stories, so unfortunately they will be alot shorter to help speed this along. Expect the update within the next 12 hours to accomodate re-configuration as well as story writing.

However, to tide you over, please see the spoiler for the score graph. This should give you a slight idea as to how the game is going.
