Fallout mod.

Gladi, yes you can have entire tech trees if you want to. Just takes a lot of effort. So it is easier to set apart the techs that make one civ different from the others. As an example the green Goo is a strategic resource, but only the Ghouls get a use out of it as most of their units require it to be made. Tribals are another strategic resource that only the Mutants get benefit from as they represent the Mutants raiding tribal villages for more humans to "dip". These Strategic resources require techs available to those civs respectively. So depending on what you want to do you can pretty much represent anything, just takes some figuring out how to do it.


here is the current list of resources.

1. Geckos, Luxury, 1 commerce
2. Iron, Strategic, 1 shield
3. Deathclaws, Strategic, NADA, but is required for Deathclaw Engineering
4. Coal, Strategic, 2 shields, 1 commerce
5. Fusion Batteries, Strategic, 6 commerce, and is required to make energy rifled weapons units.
6. Small Energy Cells, Strategic, 4commerce and is required to make the Highwayman, small energy pistol units and advanced vehicles
7. Tires, Strategic, 2 commerce, also required for wheeled vehicles
8. Metal Armor, Strategic, 2 shields, 2 commerce
9. Uranium, Strategic, 1 shield and 3 commerce
10. Mutated Corn, Luxury, 3 food and 2 commerce
11. Golden Geckos, Luxury, 3 commerce
12. Broc Flower, Luxury, 1 commerce
13. Cactus, Luxury, 1 food, 1commerce
14. Radscorpions, Luxury, 1 shield, 2 commerce
15. Prewar Booze, Luxury, 4 commerce
16. Xander Root, Luxury, 1 commerce
17. Gems, Luxury, 4 commerce
18. Whales, Bonus, 2 food, 1 shield, 2 commerce
19. Wolves, Bonus, 1 shield, 2 commerce
20. Fish, Bonus, 2 food, 2 commerce
21. Brahmin, Bonus, 3 food, 2 shield, 2 commerce
22. Cabbage, Bonus, 3 food, 1 commerce
23. Gold, Luxury, 1 shield, 5 commerce
24. Medical Supplies, Strategic, 1 shield, 4 commerce
25. Small Caliber Ammunition, Strategic, 3 shields, 2 commerce
26. Large Caliber Ammunition, Strategic, 4 shields, 5 commerce
27. Tribals, Strategic, 2 commerce, and is required for Mutant Units
28. Green Goo, Strategic, NADA, but required for Ghoul Units

need any help?

what we could use tho is a talented terrain maker. cause basically... i suck at it and work is eatin me alive atm... so i have no time really to do what i need to.

i can proved images for every terrain tile that is needed (and then some). we just need someone that can put it all together and make it work. oh yeah... ya also gotta be able to take critisism (;

This looks to be one incredible mod! The one thing is that it seems a little hard to read the screens in some places, but I'm sure that will be cleared up before beta even. Good work!

@ Plexus yes as a matter of fact we do need help.:) what would you like to help with? the biggest thing we need help with is the converting of the units to civ 3. Also somebody for terrain creation. We have the tiles for the terrain just need somebody capable of putting it all together.:)

Xen no i do not mind at all.:) It is the helmet of the Power Armor from Fallout: Tactics. One of the Fallout games i am pulling units out of.:cool:

I have attached a pic of the entire unit.
