Just a bit of fun!

If you could choose anyone from history to form a government, who would it be?

Positions in the cabinet:

-Prime Minister/President, if you want to be slighlty more American :D
-Finance Minster
-Interior Minister
-Foreign Minister
-Defence Minister
-Health Minister
-Education Minister
-Trade Minister
-Minister for regions

Those are just some general pointers, though. Add more if you want.

You can choose anyone from history for the various positions, and you cannot allocate one person to more than one post.

Get thinking!

btw, mine is:

- Prime Minister - Jean of Arc

- Finance Minister - Adam Smith

- Interior minister - Otto Von Bismark

- Foreign minister - Napoleon

- Defence minister - Alexander The Great

- Health Minister - Florence Nightingale

- Education Minister - Leonardo Da Vinci (With Socrates and Voltaire as deputies, probably :D)

- Trade Minister - John Maynard Keynes

- Minister for regions - Ghandi

- Minister for The Arts - Shakespeare

:D :D :crazyeyes ;)

Can you explain me the difference between the financial and trade minister?
And wich is the rol of the minister for regions?

Excuse me, these divisions of the executive power are new to me.

Basically the Minister for Finance runs taxation, government spending and the like.

Trade Minister is generally considered to be less important, as they mainly deal with foreign and domestic trade, and will most likely work in close colaboration with the Finance Minister. Whereas the Finance minister will probably deal with both finanical and economic policy, The Trade minister is mostly there to ensure trading within the economy runs well.

Not usually a terribly important post in many governments, although I included it here to provoke people into thinking.

Mainly they deal with the well being of regional areas, regional development agencies, local assemblies, local government and the like, and make sure that the regions work efficently and make sure none are neglected. Non-federal states will probably have a more important role for any such minister.
