Skin preview.

In FFH this dragon is supose to be red, but I'll skin in a lot of different color. I began with a green one(the red will be my next). I have some minor things to change on it before this version will be ready.

A bit of feedback on the skin. Looks great but there is something dodgy where the tail meets the body, On side views the scales kinda stop, and there is a definate dividing line where the tail starts. There's a change in colour, and a fairly large change in scale size.

Apart from that, 'tis ace!

Looks wicked nice! but yeah I agree with TGA (always want to write GTA ) about the tail being a bit fishy.

Heres a suggestion for a skin what about a bone dragon???

A bone dragon would rule. How hard would it be to distribute the model just showing bones? I have no idea how dumb that question might be btw.

I think doing an decent bone dragon by skinnig is... ..Its easier to do a new model reusing the animation i think..... no no do not look at me ...

I just got to thinking, there should be a dragon regicide mod. there could be 5 age catagories, each a different size and slightly different skin and different spels/stats. Dragons could be hero units, protecting thier human charges from the ravages of the raging barbarians surounding them and eventually carving thier own empire/protectorate/theocracy ruling as benevolent Savior or Cruel Tyrant. Dragons could teach humans magic and lend thier scales to create dragoon knights, bringing order to the barbaric world in which they live. Maybe someone could make it, just a thought really.

And what to say about that angel guy near the dragon. His wings are absolutely outstanding as well !

a Shadow Dragon might be an easier skin to make for this dragon to have an undead dragon in the list (rather than the bone dragon) ?

That Angel is the Winged Swordman form Rabbit, White. Shadow and Undead Dragons would be doable by skinning you are right.

The only (minor) Problem might be the way CIV4 treats partial transparency. (Some of th Units behind the Shadow Dragon, the trees and buildings will be hidden by the dragon, do you would kind of the the shadow directly on the terrain. Its kind of strange and stupid, but i did not find a way around this yet. )

But actually i will make a shadow dragon skin for testing purposes (should be simple... all in Black )

both, the model and the skin are just superb! Finally a really fearsome dragon arrived for fantasymods

One thing on the skin: the thing TGA said about the tail and body seem to be true also for the legs and feet.

EDIT: I love what you did with the mouth (i.e. the "lips") C. Roland!

Well it seems as if the modeling is now becoming what I need it for to remake the Mystara mod for Civ 4. Nice work, it's beautiful.

Well, a Shadow Dragon would not be transparent actually. It's just an unnaturally black dragon emanating a dark mist around it.
