Fascism and Feudalism - useless?

Feudalism:
Try this map:
Standard, 70% continents, wet, cool, 3 billions, sedentary Barbs
Civs: Rome (human), 3 SEA Civs, 4 other
Seed-# 5377193

Of course, you can pick any other non-SEA Civ for yourself.

Now, try the map and tell me if you don't think Feudalism rocks here? (Won on Deity).

Fascism...never used it, don't plan to ever do so. Occasionally it helps the AI, at least it is better than pre-C3C Communism was.
What is "seed"?

The number the map generator generates maps from. Entering it into the "Seed" field in the world customization screen makes sure you get exactly the same map Doc Tsiolkovsky had (assuming all other parameters are also identical).

I haven't studied the gov extensively, but I like fascism well enough. If the main drawback is the conversion rate being so poor, well it is a bit of a hassle at times, but then again it's easily worked around by starving the populace as I always do anyway, and secondly by throwing a worker or two in those cities to shift the balance to your people.

I'm not too keen on communism unless of course I get it from a peace treaty. I prefer Republic to fascism easily, but unfortunately with the style I play and so often either not being able to get many luxuries and/or not being able to build much luxury wonders I have to end up resorting to fascism to continue the almost non-stop warring. What's worse than non-stop warring, perhaps, is even if you're on/off warring, wehn you do to end up against multiple nations, then an iron fist is needed and every shortcut you can take in research to try to keep up or stay ahead, usually means forfieting the idea of communism in preference.

One other slight, advantage you might say, is from the perspective of the AI being too much of a pushover possibly for you, and that is in selcting fascism you are with the same gov as the AI, thereby making the AI a little better so to speak. One last advanatge of it, though I indirectly hinted at it, is that it is easier to pick up than communism for instance, at a cheaper price, simply because so many may have already researched it.

BTW, isn't the metropolis garrison upkeep for fascism at 10 units? My last game only was giving me 4 units for garrison. "IF" it really is meant to be able to garrison 10 units towards the happiness of the city, that is a considerable boon if you don't have much luxuries.
