Favorite Friends character

So who was your favorite character from the series Friends?

I bet Joey's going to win, but I voted Ross, especially because of the acting performance of David Schwimmer. The facial expressions he's capable of...

It wasn't so much any character that I liked, it was how they all interacted together. However, Joey + Chandler seemed to have the most funny parts, but Gunther the barman was also pretty good when he appeared.

The way the characters looked was kinda integral with their personalities (or lack of).
If you couldn't find Friends funny, then you have a very strange sense of humour.

But it does not matter, as the following own Friends:

Arrested Development
King of the Hill
Malcolm in the Middle
Corner Gas
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
This Hour has 22 Minutes

And those are just comedies I can think of, still airing. True, some may have passed their prime, or have been great in the first place, but they still own Friends.

Agreed.

It was refreshing to see attractive people being silly, vulnerable and yes, funny. Prior to Friends TV was full of pretty boys and girls full of teenage angst involved in never-ending petty squabbles and romantic guessing games.

I can't vote for a favorite character because the show was truly a team effort. Any character alone won't be funny. But playing off a neurotic against an airhead and a princess? Hilarious results.

Loved the show, but gotta admit that they were losing creative steam by the last few years. Also the fact is the cast was starting to show the effect of 10 years of wear and tear (except for Rachel).

Friends wasn't too bad, wasn't too good... when nothing else on it had the nod.

Phoebe and Joey equally, both dumb, and so funny..

(I voted phoebe though, who said not attractive? someones batting for the other side...)

I never watched it, but in my later teens, I was forced to overhear countless episodes as my sister watched it. Consequently, I hate it.
