What are your favorite Browsers?
Two (2) maximum please

Opera for regular use. At times I need Firefox for its addons though.

Firefox on my computer
Safari on my iPod Touch.

I never had problems using the standard Explorer and Safari browsers.

Mozilla Firefox and Netscape. I don't use Netscape anymore but I'm still grateful to it.

The same. I started using Netscape within months of getting my first internet connection. And even now I have very little experience with IE because of it.

IE was my first browser, but that soon changed to netscape. Currently I run Firefox in both Windows and Linux, Google Chrome from time to time ( less often now ) and Opera on my laptop. I also liked the flock browser. Songbird too has a nice one, if for the simple fact that when you want to just look up youtube videos or etc you have a browser right there in your media player.

I was an IE user prior to Firefox 1.5. I don't understand all the love for Netscape since it was total crap until they based it on FF code, and then you could it Firefox.

For favorite, only Opera qualifies. Its features especially I like (Speed Dial, linking of profiles, etc), although it was initially its speed that got me using it. I just can't see any particularly good reason to use Firefox over Opera, although that may be in part that I'd rather use what comes with a browser than searching for plugins.

Other than that, IE is the one I use most, either IE6 or IE8, for compatibility purposes. It does look like the Accelerators feature of IE8 (basically you can highlight some text and do a whole bunch of things with it on right-click, like look it up on Google/Live Maps or get a definition) might be nice, but I doubt it'll be worth changing browsers for. I do keep Firefox installed, though, for the odd site that doesn't work with Opera or IE but does with Firefox.

Of these, I've also used Safari for Windows, Chrome, Konquerer, Netscape (unfortunately), and K-Meleon. The only one I was impressed with at all was Chrome's speed, but it was sorely lacking in features, so I've left it on the back burner for awhile. Pretty good poll options, by the way - nice to see a poll with good options.

Other way around. Mozilla was based on Netscape. So there!

firefox for normal use and lynx for when I'm using command line.

Glad I'm not the only one who still likes Lynx. Really funny thing is the text only browser Lynx handles the Acid Tests more gracefully than most IE version.

Opera and Firefox. I tend to switch between the two every 3 months or so. I prefer Opera but it's hard to resist adblock.

I used to swear by Firefox 2.x, but switched back to IE because a lot of websites I dealt with didn't like the downloader applets or preferred IE for transactions. I've stayed away from the beta-version of IE since it crashed my system.
