Been using Google Chrome today because something is wrong with my Firefox and I am too lazy to fix it.

Chrome is still very buggy. I might use it all the time if it worked right.

No keyboard shortcuts can be modified from anywhere in the Firefox GUI without addons.
.

maybe i was thinking of an older version. or something.

When I tried Chrome, the scroll-wheel on my mouse wouldn't work right. That was an absolute deal breaker for me.

Have they fixed that yet? Someone please wake me when they do.

The wheel works, but I can't press in the third button and scroll. That bugs me.

Google Chrome because of its blazingly fast V8 engine. Mozilla Firefox for its features.

I've been using Google Chrome for a while now, it's pretty much replaced Opera and Firefox for me. Although I still use Firefox occasionally, as I prefer the UI to Chrome.

I tried IE8. It's a nice browser with plenty of functionality if you use IE7Pro, but I find that tabs crash way too often.

IEPro has adblock and a lot of the functionality I was looking for (and got) in FF and Avant. Using it w/ IE8 on my laptop and it seems to work well.

I like Internet Explorer 8.

Opera, Opera and then Opera. I only revert to IE8 when I go to two particualr sites that don't support it.

Right now I am using Firefox 3.5 and it is much faster than the old version 3.0 which was what I had before. Before I used Firefox I used Netscape, but it was apoor browser, but it did what i needed back then.

I'm pretty skeptical of people claiming they notice a speed difference between versions of browsers, without visiting benchmarking sites.

I'm on a 4 year-old computer, and every browser is pretty much the same speed for me; really fast.

Internet speed has the largest affect on browsing speed, followed by familiarity with the browser and the way it's used.

Nothing to be skeptical about here. There is a very noticeable difference between Firefox 3.0.11 and 3.5. 3.5 Uses a new javascript engine that is much faster. In fact, even when 3.5 was still 3.1 alpha, it was already much faster. It just had a few glitches and bugs, but even then I used it quite extensively.
The difference is even more noticeable when you have more extensions installed.

Firefox 3.5 is indeed a lot faster than 3.0. I benchmarked both myself and noticed a respectable increase, but Chrome still largely wins out in the end, which is the sole reason I use it.

I do miss support for extensions though.
