what is your favourite sausage?

i'd have to go with "käsekrainer".

yes, there's cheese in it.

I'd be going for more something in the Australian sausage collection. Perhaps Rosemary & Lamb? They're really nice.

Hungarian, because as far as I know it's the only kind of sausage that's spicier than the rest.

If anyone could suggest one even spicier, I will be very appreciative!

Sweet sausage. I have a sensitive stomach, so this is pretty much the only kind that isn't spicy or too greasy.

We have three big kinds here in Illinois.

Bratwurst - My personal favorite, always delicious when grilled by yours truly over charcoal.

Salameat - Italian immigrant specialty here. It is like bratwurst but red and has some spices added.

Polish Sausage - Very good, but rarely ate alone. It is usually mixed in with red beans and rice.

When I get to Germany I think I am going to be trying different sausages every day. Life will be good and grand. [18 days and counting...]

I'd say a Frankfurter sausage.

Though salami is really good as well.

I love things like salami and chorizo, but you cannot beat a good old fashioned British sausage. Good quality pork, a few herbs and some black pepper. No fancy stuff. Grilled - fried is better for cheapo ones, but quality ones deserve grilling, or even BBQing - and served with a plate of garlic mash. De-frikkin'-licious.

I really like Grützwurst (with raisins, if possible):

Bratwurst has got to be my favourite kind of sausage, though.

Chorizo, hands down.

Mexican Chorizo.
