[Feature] Additional Wonders

Done and done.

Maybe it would be nice if the Frontenac would also get the bonus of a regular hotel. (Alongside the free railroads or hotels) It would give it a bit extra flavour IMO.

New update: added Chateau Frontenac (with merijn's art), requires Refining, free Railway Station in all cities and +50% Railroad construction

I will probably merge this branch soon now. I think we have reached a point where a great number of wonders have been added across the entire tech tree. I am not sure how many people are playing on this branch, but I want to maximise feedback by having everyone on develop play with these wonders, so that we can figure out if wonders are too strong or weak or unneeded.

I played a little bit with Russia. Byzantium was dead, which meant I had an easy shot at all the orthodox wonders, but I guess that's expected. The only feedback I have is that Mount Athos expires too fast (at Academia), making it not really worth it. Mount Athos is still a thing, so I think it could expire much later or even not at all.

I find it quite powerful though, so I want to limit its utility. Maybe I made it expire too early.

Specifically, what happened to me was that I was trying to build it in the 1400s and then construction stopped because someone else had discovered academia. I don't know how it feels if you build it earlier (e.g. as the Byzantines).

The game becomes unstable after added Chateau Frontenac. It's usual to crash and exit the game automatically. When you move a unit, the game is possible to crash.

The buildingconstants in Rhyes.h

Code:
#define NUM_BUILDINGS_PLAGUE        (299) // always increment when a building is added
#define NUM_BUILDINGTYPES_PLAGUE    (218) // increment when a building class is added

were not updated when both the Chapultepec Castle and Chateau Frontenac were added.

Can someone share a reproducible save? The crash does not seem to occur frequently enough for me to detect it.

Spain in 1712ad, when press "enter" to next turn, the game crashes.

Thanks.

Have you considered a rework of the Temple of Solomon? Before Judaism became a separate ingame religion it doubled maximum shrine income, what I liked about that was it gave Jerusalem some strategic importance. It's a rather unimpressive city judged just by virtue of its tiles. It would be neat if there actually was a reason for the Abrahamic religions to fight over it. Something like extra happiness in cities with Abrahamic religion, extra war-weariness for enemies with a different Abrahamic state religion, relationship bonus with civs of the same Abrahamic religion.

Are you aware that the Dome of the Rock has the double max shrine income effect, and requires the Temple of Solomon, effectively making it an upgrade for Jerusalem? The only thing is that it must be built by a Muslim civ.

Yeah I just don't see it happening with the AI. Arabia would need two prophets since the first naturally builds the Muslim shrine.

Okay, the crash should be fixed now. It wasn't actually related to the Frontenac art, instead the Administrative Center art was broken during the merge process which lead to a crash.

Please consider increasing the number of great wonder slots per culture level, a number of cities have 4-5 historic wonders.
Such as?

New York City:
*Brooklyn Bridge
*Empire State Building
*World Trade Centre
*Statue of Liberty
*United Nations

Rome:
*Coliseum
*Sistine Chapel
*Aqua Appia

London:
*Chunnel
*Oxford
*Bletchley Park
*Crystal Palace
*Trafalgar Square
*Westminster
*Wembley
*Abbey Mills

Paris:
*Chunnel
*Notre Dame
*Eiffel Tower
*Louvre
*Versailles
*Triumphal Arch

London is a major issue with so many wonders, I did assign the Chunnel to both Paris and London as both are quite valid locations

I don't think the cap should be increased, just to allow correct placement of every wonder.

The main reason for the cap to be introduced is for balance, namely to avoid supercities with a lot of wonders. Increasing the cap will go directly against that.

It is very unlikely that all wonders will be build in the correct city. Increasing the cap will very likely increase more inaccurate wonder placement. If you suggested it because you want accurate wonder placement, it will not work and even have the opposite effect.

And even now, it is possible to have London have all the wonders it has IRL. You need a lot of culture for that. Which isn't that inaccurate at all. The cities with a lot of wonders IRL have a lot of "culture" IRL too. (Or what culture is trying to represent)
