FF Manual ???

I feel the need to say something, though.

This thread has gotten waaaaaay off topic, and is probably being ignored by other posters, not knowing the news that has transpired within.

I'd suggest we make another thread for discussing wiki stuff, and Vehem or another team member needs to create a new thread, announcing the wiki. and possibly stickying it.

let's discuss it here and let Vehem create a thread with an appropriate name.

I've made a fixed width for Archos and formatted Chislev the same way. I like how it turned out. If you think it's ok, I will add other civilizations in the same manner.

Very nice. Will have to the Elohim when you're doing the other civs, as they have been changed drastically enough to warrant a page.

I've tried using a dash instead of ", replaces" in the Archos sidebar. have a look and tell me what you think?

I think the contrast between bold and italic makes them easy to distinguish, and removing the extra filler text works better.

I'd suggest having two categories of civs

Fall Farther Civs
the completely new ones

Modified FFH Civs
Detailing any modifications to UU/UBs of base FFH races, like the House of the Grey for Sidar.

I like it, although I did go in and change the sidebar's width to 200 rather than 300... Fits better, looks nice and clean.

That would probably be best. When the Leaders are filled in, Decius will need to be included for the same reason.

I did the same for the chislev, but 200 was too small for their sidebar. Things were getting wrapped.

Increased both sidebars to 250, for consistency. Looks good, I think

The Scions should really just have something reading "See Below". There's no way you'll cram their UU/UB slew into a sidebar of any kind without it being ridiculous.

Anyways, I think it would be good to have a general gameplay overview. Ie, a brief summary of what each faction is like, to play.

For example

"The archos are an extremely powerful warmongering civ, built for conquering. The combination of Aggressive and Defender traits gives their units 30% extra strength inside your borders, meaning you can leave far fewer troops at home, while you go out to conquer. The meat of their early army, are Brutes, a powerful unique axeman. Brutes have +1 poison strength, making them a cut above almost any other unit at the same tech level. They have a slight downside, in that they can't use Iron weapons, so a Mines of Gal Dur rush is not so effective with Archos, but that is a small price to pay."

There's plenty more to write about them, but I'm presently two patches behind, due to an ongoing MP game that updating would break, and so I haven't been able to try out the new spider mechanics yet, therefore I don't know enough to write this whole section, but there's a good start.

The point of this section in the wiki, would be to show at a glance, what a civ is "about". A rough summary of what it's like to play them, where their strengths lie, etc. Something I sorely found lacking in the civilopedia when I first started FFH.

I keep trying to write stuff and realizing that it's not actually in Fall Further >_>

Looks good. Well, it looks like we came to an agreement here and now have a template.

Lol, I did the same for Culture.PNG, Health.PNG, Illness.PNG and Happiness.PNG.
Note, the extension is PNG not png.

Cool

I've filled the traits. Good job.

I wonder if you should add Civilization-specific Civic under "other features" or leave as it is.
