Ok, big issue; Downloaded the necesary files, but when i double click the installer, it says that it cant find the " fallfrom heaven 2 files, though i know they are there, if i try to run the mod, i get LOTS of missing file errors, everything in the mod i guess. is there a fix any one knows of, or any way i can download the mod in zip, or something?
also, im running Vista, if thats the prob...and UAC is off...im at a loss...

Fall From Heaven 2: Fall Further Expansion is the best game to come out since Civilization 4.

Wow. V. 050 has so much stuff in it Vehem should change his sig to:

Is there some way to turn off the Quick Victory and still choose a civilization? I am tired of loosing to a Quick Victory before I even make Trading.

playing a custom game? not sure what you mean by "still choose a civilization" honestly.

In my version of Civ 4 BTS when choosing a custom game I get my choice of Team 1, 2 etc. I do not know which culture I am playing until the game loads. I would like to be able to chose my civilization in the custome screen. If I start a regular game the AI wins with a Lightning Victory every time. I am exploring the cultures and would like to play the same culture several times to research alternatives, not jump from evil elves to good lizardmen to barbarians.

in the custom game screen you can select your leader. default is random but you can change that ( upper central section of the screen. team 1,2 etc. are another thing, they are used to define teams i.e. alliances that are active since the start of the game ) . you can also disable the victory conditions that you dislike via checkboxes. for example I always play with time victory turned off.

Thank you. It is hard to learn that what I knew was wrong. I am attempting to send you a zip file. It is a collection of artwork from Wizards of the Coast I downloaded years ago. They may give you permision for use in exchange for screen credit. If the file attachment fails, one can do a google search for Wizards of the Coast, select for Images. Some of the art looks appropriate.

havent had the chance to try the mod mod yet but if its as good as its sounds like its going to be im going to be angry at myself for not trying it sooner. loved fall from heaven and this sounds like just more of a good thing.

You should definitely get some great engineers to make the masterwork buildings. They allow you to purchase specialty promotions in the cities with those buildings. After you sac an engineer for one, you can build that in any of your cities. It's neat & goes well with RoK.

From a santity standpoint, watch out for reloading the game We currently have a bit of a known bug that requires you to quit to the desktop before you load a game or start a new one (after having already played for a few turns). Other than that... try not to raise the AC too high and let hell spread into your territory. And be wary of Barbarians in general.
