FfH Mod [Game 2] [ReRun]

Is it possible to revert to a save of the first Scienidez FfH and convert the AI to human. The reason being we got the first FfH to work. Did anybody keep a save?

have no idea...and wish i did. Im eager to play a multi player ffh game

Yeah
I wait for it...
I want to play with You. I strongly suggest trying Orbis or other modmod (Wildmana maybe? I personally prefer Orbis, but do what You want)

Anyway, I will start an Orbis PBEM in next week, so if anybody would want to take part in it, do it :)

But it would be "strange" game:
5-6 human players, small map, quick speed, Emperor difficulty (or Monarch with options: AI no building requirements, AI no level reqiurements), advanced start, barbarian world, cannot build settlers, compact enforced, wildlands ...
Cannot play as:
- doviello, Clan of embers (peace with barbs),
- kuriotates, scions of Patria (too many benefits from single city)

Basically, every player would have about 3 starting cities, and in order to have more, he would have to take them from barbarians, other players or AI (there would be at least 5 AI)
So, options: advanced start, barbarian world, cannot build settlers WILL NOT be subject of discussion.

In the next two days I will start a new thread, but the game itself will start at the beggining of next week

hmmm im thinkin id like that game. i have to look at what orbis adds to ffh

Scienidez, I'm almost sure that You cannot play PBEM in "vanilla FfH" - we have tried and we failed :(

Orbis is one of the modmods for FhF; in my opinion, it does for FfH the same thing, that BtS for vanilla Civ. Among other things, in Orbis are corporations, spies, great generals... and of course a lot of changes, which means that it is quite different from vanilla FfH

The others notable modmods are Wildmana, Fall Further and RiFE

I prefer WildMana over Orbis, mostly because of the changes in economy introduced by Orbis(3 :food: per citizen instead of 2 :food:).

Yeah, Orbis changes economy A LOT. And in my opinion make it more interesting. 3 food per citizien is a balancing factor - there are many ways of getting additional food (technologies that increases farm yields, buildings giving flat number of food, civics and buildings giving % bonus to number of food...); it is surely different than in FfH, and surely more complicated.
If You want to play game with MORE importance of economical decisions, Orbis is a way to go. (balanced civics - there are no "must have" combinations like aristocracy and agrarianism which is a winning combo in vanilla FfH; all improvements are good options in some situations - farms, cottages, lumbermills, quarries, windmills, watermills etc; guilds and things related to them add another layer of complexity)

On the other hand, Wildmana changes other things - the most important in my opinion is totally reworked magic system. If You want to play game with more spelss and with bigger importance of spells - Wildmana has it.
Wildmana also has a lot of optional components - I do not like majority of them, but some are interesting, and good thing is that You can turn them on and off.

My preference is toward Orbis, but of course it is only my personal opinion. I do not think or say that Wildmana or Orbis is definetely better; just that the latter best suits my gaming preferences

well if you're running orbis, count me in and Ill download it sometme in the next handful of days to get acquainted with it.

Ill tell you whats wierd, we had just got things going with vanilla ffh...dont know what settings were changed, but we had completed a full round and started the second when we went for the reboot....ugh

I am still game to try. But don't put me as the first recipient of the new game. I am fed up being the bearer of misloads.

I was interested..and still am, but we just cant get it going...

Scienidez, would you mind attaching the save games that you e-mailed on? I'm curious if they would have worked for others, and if they did, what the map looked like. Thanks!
