FfH2 0.15 Bugs

I know you are aware of the bug already, but here is a savegame with a reproducible CTD, probably from Ashen Veil art (I have been strugling through the last 50 turns, getting an increasing amount of CTDs, but usually non-reproductible)

End turn, answer Arendel's demand for tribute (yes or no, doesn't matter), and the CTD comes immediately afterwards.

Here is the savegame

Thanks Halancar, I was hoping to get a CTD of this issue on the new version.

Why bother ? You can take an adept (well, a mage anyway), gift him with vampirism, send him on a feasting spree and have all the xp you could wish. Then you can make him a lich. Calabim may struggle through the initial game, but when it comes to creating super-high xp units in the end game, they are without equal :)

But doesn't the Vampire Lord have both Summoning AND Sorcery? How's that for versatile Liches, eh?

Question, a caster with orthuss axe can launch more than one spell each turn?

Nope .

I don't know if it's a bug , but if a civilization has the barbarian trait and the barbarian declare war , everyone have the pop up ? ... playing the grigori and got the message when an AI player loose his barbarian trait .

Grafted a Great Commander on to Sphener, and his XP went up to 101 before stopping.

It would go higher, the Great Commander gives xp like the Raider trait or the valor spell (+1 per combat).

Hmm.. I never thought about if the barb civ that was that far ahead was an AI civ. I will see what I can do.

I don't know if this is a FFH bug or a civ bug or intended because I've never played oasis in regular civ. I've noticed that a lot of empty desert squares randomly generate corn. A lot.
Yes, the Oasis and Great Plains maps (and fantasy) have unusual resource placement. No changes, I believe, from vanilla were made.

I highly suspect this is an oversight:
Moroi have divine promotion, allowing them to cast the OO priest spell Burning Blood.
But now they can upgrade to vampires, who have more spell spheres, and later vampire lords, who have even more. Meaning a vampire Lord can cast more level 3 OO spells, without having that religion. And if he did cast lich, I suspect he could cast every divine spell, with enough feasting.
If promotions (divine) can be removed on upgrade, then it's an easy fix, I suppose.

I should have been more specific. This was XP from just being a hero. I grafted a commander to him after he got heroic strength II, and after a few turns it suddenly called my attention to him to get a promotion. No combat was involved. Does the GC add +1 XP every time the unit gains XP, whatever its source?

I have not read every single post in this thread so maybe it has been reported already.

Ravenous Werewolves neither get the werewolf promotion nor are they enraged.

Not a bug, but on the next new version would it be possible to use some sort of file compression?

Here in Thailand broadband is not readily available and on a good day, I get 45K on my dial-up. It took me over 15 hours (with several disconnects) to download 15.0.

Thanks for your consideration. :)

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I wasn’t able to find any info about it and I don’t know where elsewhere I could post this. Playing as a Calabim I wasn’t able to build Elder Council, and Alchemy Lab. Is this by purpose? And the second issue. What is the difference between unique units for respective civilizations, and units labeled in Civilopedia as “not buildable by you civilization”?

FfH is 470 MB uncompressed, so I'd say the 200 MB download is already compressed.

Ok this is the save where Loshas Valas is missing.

When you press f5 for the military advisor locates her in Prespur but in the game screen she just isn't there:

Apparently, you can't build ordinary improvements on mana nodes anymore, even before you research knowledge of the ether. While it does make sense after you know the nodes' location, it's a bit confusing before you do.

Is Losha Valas (The Calabim Hero) supposed to have undead? None of the other Vampires do.
