FfH2 0.21 Cosmetic Issues

I find it indispensable, and not only for large stacks of units. My main use for it is for spell-casting.

Is it really necessary for you to block out the Mercurian and Infernal civilopedia entries? It's not like those civs are supposed to be a secret. Also, their entries can still be accessed through the leaderhead entries.

The button used for the Mercurians, the image of a man in a suit, looks out of place in FfH. How about an angel? Unless someone is trying to be humorous and I don't get it.

Anyone else find the dragon sounds to be slightly annoying? I mean, they sound really good when you first hear them and all, but when the dragon sounds play everytime you move the screen near them or when you click on them, it starts to get somewhat annoying. I think the problem is that they're kinda loud and play longer than the other sounds. And with dragons being so large, I tend to accidentally click on them alot. I had to turn off my speakers after awhile of having abashi.

I ended up switching the dragon sounds with the orc or gorilla grunt, and that's alot easier to listen to. My suggestion would be to make the dragon sounds shorter.

make calling the popups close the previous one?(on mouse over) regardless of the type

I'm not sure this is the right place, but a suggestion for the Tech Tree window.
Make it fill out the entire screen, like the Foreign Advisor does.

To get around our PLE pop up problem can the info text be moved up the screen or given a few empty lines at its bottom so it won't get in the way of combat odds? Or move combat odds or the PLE info over to the other side?! This is as a proposed workaround to actually getting the info text to unstick when the unit is not mouse-overed.

The icon to create Maros is quite dark, next to all the other icons it looks more like the greyed out icons than the accessible ones.

Tooltips of units don't list multiple Melee or Horsekilling promotions. The two icons will show, but even if both of them are present just the "+40% vs." text appears, not +80%.

Is there some way to tell what all the enemy units in a particularly large stack are? I've often seen stacks where there are far more units that will fit on the screen, which has made me miss taking out some enemy heros (with magic, of course) a few times. If they were my units the interface that is causing all the lingering popups would help, but you cant select enemy units to sort through them like that.

I think we're going to have to wait until Beyond the Sword comes out and FFH converts to that base for a proper solution to this problem. The only way right now for you to see someone at the bottom of a stack is through the military advisor.

Even if the civilizations die to someone else than you, their message seems directed to you. Now this isn't a big thing, but it would be nice if it either wasn't, or maybe you wouldn't see it if it's not you that kill them off.

Yeah, this was discussed when they first came out. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be an easy fix, according to Kael.

Yeah the function where we do the popup check doesnt have the "killer" past to it. So unfortunatly I have no good way of telling who killed the player.

This isn't an issue, more a suggestion.

Losha Valas gets an Immortal promotion when she kills a living unit. It would be nice if there was a pop-up, similar to the Orthus pop-up, telling you that this happened and why. Not only to teach the player that she becomes immortal by killing a living unit, but also cause those pop-ups are sweet. :)

Perhaps pop-ups for the heroes would add some nice flavour to the game. One for when they're created, and one for when they are defeated. It's always bothered me how they can be killed without a squeak.
