FfH2 0.22 Cometic Issues

In this post I shall detail grammatical errors in the civilopedia entires.

Auric Ulvin:

1. Auric wandered what was left of the caverns for days, slowly going deeper into the mountain, turned back over and over by blocked passages as he was pressed on by spirits that didn(')t see the labyrinth as it was, only as it had been.

Rhoanna:

1. She was the daughter of a chieftain of a minor tribe. (Her) father was constantly warring with the other...

If that was intended, then the text quickly switched from third to first person in a way that is not considered correct English.

Also, is there a reason that Tasunke's civilopedia entry was removed?

I'll put up some more over time. I know, I can't help but be pedantic. :)

Not sure if this has been asked before....but, is there a way to make it so when i finally can build lumbermills that they not be deleted when the forest becomes an ancient forest? ive cut the ancient forest down, bloomed it for a new forest, wait forever to become forest, build a lumbermill and afterwards loose it not long after building it to the ancient forest.

Thanks, they are both fixed. I dont think we ever removed Tasunke's entry, I just don't think we have written it yet.

I remember reading about Tasunke when he was competing in, what was it, 'Klaya-Hippus' or something. He found himself competing with Rhoanna. Was that his entry or was that something else?

Oh, and did you also see my post on page 4 (last one before page 5)?

The "Some of your units have gone to the Infernals"-text is shown BEFORE the combat animation has finished, which is kinda annoying if you don't wanna know who wins till the animation is over. (Firaxis hid the HP bar and str of units during combat animation for the same reason in one of their patches)

I usually play with Quick combat on so I hadn't noticed this till now. Sorry if it has already been reported.

And since this is the Cometic Issues thread, here an icon! ->

Grammar mistake in the text for AC 10: "the currents of time flows" should be "the currents of time flow".

1) The mana bar is great! However, I think it needs to be moved over a bit. You can't click on announcement icons very easily.
Exactely. Two proposals: a) It can be movable or unrolled such as a menu with a button.
b) at the bottom horizontally.

Ive been trying to make it a horizontal bar without success. If anyone can figure out how to do it I would love to see it.

where is the code located I will see if I can come up with something.

You could just move the mana bar to the left side of the screen.

If so, I would recommend a way to hide or make the announcements on that side of the screen disappear faster (they are already often distracting)

Because they get in the way for anyone playing with minimised popups - they're pretty essential in sim. turns multiplayer and are useful in SP to give you chance to review the situation before being asked to decide what cities are doing.

I don't care for the way some of the unit pictures show only part of the head. The elf and goblin workers are just green smudges. I'd prefer a clearly delineated head shot with a contrasting background.

Use this thread to report any cosmetic issues in 0.22.

I notice a small problem with the Floating Eye. As I send the eye off on patrol the territory is revealed but the window pans to the next unit and I don't get to see that wonderful animation of the eye scouting out the sector. I notice that the parrot doesn't have this problem as the window stays on the parrot until its' route is complete. I'm playing .22h
