FfH2 0.30 Bug Thread

When tech trading is disabled and the vote to create secret codes between members succeeds, no great mage is bought for the 25 gold. It would probably be better if the voting for secret codes is disabled with tech trading off.

Barnaxus was killed in our game and no one has his pieces. He was killed defending against a Hill Giant. The Luchuirp player killed the hill giant but got no pieces.

I'm getting all sorts of errors with a great commander attached to Losha Valas. Pretty much everything I do causes another error to pop up: move, attack, choose a promotion, etc.

Now this is a rare one:
Simultaneous roar copies a COTD unit.

Both dragons were in the same tile, and selected. If it can't be recreated( I'm too busy to try:rolleyes: ), I'll post a save.

Not really a bug, but quite annoying:

If the Bannor switch civics and abandon the Crusade civic, you get a pop-up for every unit that will be disbanded...i "only" had about 70 demagogs (after an extended crusade with "Rally"...) and 10 flagbearers....5 min of clicking later, i could finally change the civics

I think one reminder would be enough...

 Sorry couldn't help myself. That brings back memories. I was played on a very big world on an earlier civ version and got alot of money and used to upgrade all button and yes every unit that I had upgraded (way more than a 100 or so) got activated and started to blink the next turn. But your's is worse, mine was simple to avoid. I think that I will not use the Crusade civic until never (as I guess that this is not on the priority list).

I *might* have the save of ships sailing accross land you want:

The ship's on a citadel in the north in Lanun territory; they only have one city it shouldn't be hard to find :)

Using patch d btw

3) i had a HN spider with about 200 xp fom combat and it never gave me any baby spiders. is the chance to get a baby set once and then repeated after each combat?

This works, just that -all- sort of capture mechanisms (slaves, werewolves, baby spiders) require that the capturing unit NOT have Hidden Nationality. Spiders start with it, so you need to remember to remove it.

Okay. I give. How do you spread the Council of Esus?

Citadels are supposed to act this way, unless you are saying it is not on the coast.

DemonMaster, please don't chit-chat on this thread. It clutters it up for Kael looking for bugs, and for the people who actually check before reporting their own bugs.

But this mechanic is self-defeating. One of the best things about spiders is the HN promotion + their invisbility. I have had mine wandering around for at least 100 turns eating everything in sight in rival lands without being at war.

Now I can't be sure if this a true bug or not but it seems to be a bug to me, In my new game playing with patch D, I have a worker with a bunch of promotions on him. He can fight units ect. One of the promotions Is stoneskin something that is post to ware off after the turn is done or after first combat turn, but it doesn't it seems permanent. there also a bunch other like 5 or 6 in total on him.

I have no idea how he even got all these promotions on him. he was sitting in my city for a long time.

I have attached a save He sitting right outside my city working. my main city Jublie or whatever it called.

Difficulty on Deity if that makes a difference.

It seems like the incense (outside of San'ta'ron) is not counting, its not listed in my happiness resources. I have a plantation and a road connecting it.

Using D. (I'm also getting a lot of crashes with C and D).

Best wishes,

Breunor

EDIT: OK, it may be working, it may be a display problem. When I go to trade, the incense is listed. Furthermore, my cities are showing happiness from 8 resources, so I think the incense is counted. When you open the city screen, though, there is no incense on the luxury list. So I'm guessing its simply a display problem.

Do you have Philosophy? Incense can have a plantation with calendar, but philosophy is required to actually "have" the resource.

couldn't find this mentioned before, or any explanation as to whether its normal. should be .30 a, but i've also seen no mention of it being addressed,

It's kinda hard to tell whats going on, i believe into the mist was cast(but have no real way of knowing), so i'm not getting a lot of information on the mouse over, anyway its a sidar city that shows up as being ontop of a nature node. i thought you coudn't build ontop of mana nodes, and further noone has bothered to build a mana node in this games. also while they have the fellowship of leaves, that isn't the holy city. so i'm not sure whats going on here.

edit:

while i'm at it, donal lugh, the hero of bannor, not getting his recruitment power back after killing undead. atleast barbatos didn't do it for him(or pyre zombies, but it seems they aren't supposed to be dead? er, undead)

I can't figure out why I can't adopt Guardian of Nature. I have the required tech and Fellowship of Leaves state religion. I haven't had a revolution in the last 10 turns, so...is it a bug?

Good point, but I do indeed have philosophy. I edited my original post -- it looks like a display error. I can trade an incense and it looks like it is adding to my happiness, but it isn't displaying.

Best wishes,
