FfH2 Cosmetic Issues Thread

A bunch of spells have the mouseover text "Adds the xyz promotion to all units in the stack" or somesuch. Shadowwalk, for example. It'd be very nice to add what that promotion actually does, I often forget and then have to go look it up, quite annoying!

Barbarian Champions that show up from dungeons have the Orcish promotion but are no longer Orcish in appearance.

About the reporting of blobs:

I see them too now, occasionally & not fixed to specific units. I dont provide a savegame, cause reloading fixes it, the same with some ppl reporting broken music not to be played until after reload, another matter I have to confirm!
Back to the blobs (one example):
I had a Stack of Doom attacking one of Sheilas cities in the Barbarian Sceanario & it was one of two Ljosalfar Rangers attacking the city, I saw him with his two panthers attacking it, but he had a grey blob at his feet with him! I'm pretty much sure it wasnt the one carrying the bird I had with me & he was full at health at this time, as I said, reloading the save fixed it!
I never had issues with blobs, except the ones obviously reported in previous versions of this mod. Now, with FFh2, I sometimes see them, but it was only now where I could narrow it down!

All other games run fine, havent upgraded my GFX drivers for a couple of months:
Radeon X1950 series.

1. Kuriotate Airships flying over mountains wiggle around like crazy while moving and point almost straight down when stopped (also making it even harder than normal to determine exactly which tile they're on), probably due to being anchored off-center in the tile.

2. The standard 'red blob' issue, but with a slight twist: the blob was gigantic and took up all of the adjacent squares as well. It happened on the Leviathan.

I ALWAYS get the red, black and gray blobs in my games and they are not unit-specific. I think someone mentioned this was fixed in patch 'f' (even though it doesn't mention it in the patch log), and, if so, I say thank you very much!:goodjob:

Unique Features with forests and jungle on the same tile look odd.

edit: when a unit reveals a tile that USED TO have a goody hut, the "goody hut popping" animation will play.

Now that the Clan has Ogres instead of Champions, Champions spawned though exploring lairs have the orkish promotion but appear quite human.

The blobbed units was NOT fixed with patch 'f.'

I started a game with the new patch and had a red-blobbed Hunter for quite a while. Exiting, reloading helps sometimes, but not always.

I guess this goes here.

I'm seeing missing diplomacy responses. On occasion when a leader says something in diplomacy, all that they say is "1." which I assume is a placeholder for something that was forgotten or never added.

I got it a few times from talking to the Bannor, and it also appeared generally from any race as a refusal response to trade offers they turned down.

I've had a couple of games where I reload from a save and one of my units, usually a Giant Spider, is the red blob. When I move another unit onto it, that clears it up.

There was a patch released which should fix that - I've not encountered the problem since the latest couple of patches.

ok, just saw something else odd.

I'm running Slavery. Got attacked in a city by a barbarian Lizardman. Won easily, and it got captured.

Now I have a slave unit who looks human, but has the Lizardman promotion. I'm thinking a unique slave unit for lizardmen is needed here.

Screenshot is from .40h game.

The red blob a few turns later turned into a Black Blob - perhaps signifying that Christmas is over. :D

I found another isssue. Playing as luchuirp, I built the guiild of the nine, and can now recruit mercenaries.

The recruited mercenaries look very human, but they have the Dwarven race. Personally, I think the best solution is just to not make them dwarven, rather than adding a dwarven merc model.

Worker has a black blob for lower body.
