basically you just pick a civ, 2 traits you want (or 4, 1 of which is a negative trait) and a picture

yeah, the link is her work on custom civ leaders. The pics that were posted in previous posts and such, are featured in that dL.

I guess this is the forum if you want a customized civ leaderhead.

also considering doing early custom heroes that you can build right off, that are equivalent to a tier 2 unit, but with 1 less strength, that if you lose you lose your traits, to give a sort of regicide type game.

so like, you could have an axeman type looking like whatever, that has 3 strength, 1 move, +25% vs melee, and would be melee classed, and would have the hero promotion.

youd also be able to trade away strength/movement for reasonable promotions or abilities, or for each other, so like, trade away 1 strength for 1 movement, or 1 strength for the ability to see invisible animals maybe, or for +x% vs X, or for shock1, etc.

What's wrong with shrinking an image down to a square?

EDIT: All right so it's not perfect but it gets the job done doesn't it? And it doesn't always have to look horribly warped if you turn a rectangle into a square because it does not appear in the game as a perfect square image.

ya, it pics can be fixed by cropping and stretching a little and they still look good, but for ideal effect its best to have them square

shino you can have another good trait, since we count agnostic as negative (as does barbarian as outlined in the Traits Design thread), and you get either 2 good, or 3 good with 1 bad. got any pictures youd want to use?
