to change the subject a bit, i thought SS could make a female Grigory? Traits are Finacial,Raiders,Argonostic,adaptive(replace raiders),don't know where i could get a good picture but i'll try

cool, i wouldnt be willing to give up Philosophical with grigori myself heh, but raiders and financial both help with upgrading and leveling heroes too


and thats a good way to do adaptive, we'll allow it, but it takes up a trait slot, so technically you'll only have 2 good traits and 1 negative, since adaptive only allows changing another trait.

Agreed. Flexibility is worth another trait itself, in some cases.

I'm still new to FFH and haven't played all of the civs yet, but i think Sprawling, Arcane, Philisophical, Scorched Earth, Calabim might be fun.

Edit: Alright, forget the Calabim. No Elder Council, while seemingly a small thing, does not reflect my current playstyle, and on further examination, I have decided the following would be more appropriate.

Lets do Philosophical, Financial, Industrious, Scorched Earth Elohim.

Wait a sec. See, I was going to comment on a red X not working very well on the diplomacy screen, but... in multiplayer games, you don't see the leader portrait. What you do get is the leader's theme. Hm... that shouldn't be so tough to find.

Don't you see a red X instead of a picture there? Anyway, yeah, I had forgotten that music was Civ-based. Hm... though it might be cool if we each created our own Civ. More work than its worth, I think.

It is possible actually for different leaders to have different theme music. DiplomacyMusicPeace and DiplomacyMusicWar can change the music that you hear in the diplomacy screens and when you start a new game.

custom heroes could be fun too heh, and then play a game with no cities

You should probably check out the Hamachi stuff in the first post. We use their virtual LAN to play and set stuff up.

Thanks, I read the post and will get Hamachi installed on my machine when I get home. Whats not clear to me is how you arrange a game (other than the big game on Sunday.) Do you just join the LAN lobby and see who is around?

We're mid to low level in FFH experience so go easy on us We're idling in the hamachi group fallfromheaven (we're quite used to using hamachi for our ffh games), both patched to ffh 2.16j and good to go.
