A new forum member mentioned in Comings & Goings that he's into Fighting Fantasy. I'd forgotten about this specific thread, and am very glad that it exists. Over the past 17 years I've accumulated a great deal to say on the topic, both gaming-related and writing-related. Turns out I'm not the only person who writes FF fanfiction and I would absolutely love to get a renewed discussion going about the whole thing - writing, artwork, collaborative adventure creation, etc.
There are people who have been doing some fantastic maps and illustrations - earlier today on FB, someone posted a LEGO project that anyone who's solved Deathtrap Dungeon would recognize (it kills enough players and is one of the reasons it took me 12 tries to survive that one).
