Final Fixes

Ok, I'm still dealing with a computer switch. When I get that situation completed I'll get 0.4.
The launcher has worked for me, but has anyone else had the problem.
 
It may be too late as of now but I don't think the 'Barbarian World' challenge is working correctly, there are no cities.:(
 
Interesting, I have no ability to fix that right now sorry :(

And I'm pretty much done with the project at this point as the head. I'm going to combine the changes we have so far and release one last file. If more people want to continue this that is fine, but I just don't have the time. Thank you to everyone who has helped this Final Fixes project. It went far further than I expected and 0.4 received at this point over 250 downloads. I've loved the experience, but I must move on. I'm sorry to anyone who was expecting more.

Hi, I haven't been on this forum for many months and I was really happy when I saw that you guys were developing my favourite mod again. Looking forward to try your new update. Big salute!!
 
Calavente the link is under multiple locations in the first post, it says "download mine here" with the here and the hyperlink there, but I haven't uploaded 0.4 yet sorry. And thanks a lot it's nice to know that people are still interested. And thank you nastynozz I hope you like it.

BTW: We are at 282 downloads for 0.3, that's far more than I projected.

0.4 will be released by the end of the week, just need to finish compiling.
 
ok, so it wasn't just me and the launcher WAS bugged ... anyway, it's fixed and linked in the first post of RifeLauncher thread
 
One thing which I'd love to be fixed is some leaders are marked as Historical, and only have one trait. This makes them a lot weaker than other leaders, and can be fixed just by setting them to be Emergent. I can't remember off the top of my head what leaders are affected by this, but it's a relatively simple change.
 
Is there a way to make the AI favor sacrifice the weak when running Ashen Veil? My games never have them use that civic even when they have an optimal use for it. I think the AI really weighs the negative birthrate rather harshly.
 
Ok, you can easily change this to your will. Go under the civics xml file and the sacrifice the weak section. Change the AI weight value to a higher number, and if there is no ai weight tag use this. <aiweight>whatever number the higher the more likely to use it</aiweight>

1 bug with Amurite´s Adepts (apprentices). When built they get that buff of 8% per turn of becoming barbarian. Did somebody report that before me? I want a fix if exist already, if not i can post some pics about that bug.

I never played with amurites before, so i cant say if its a bug from last patch, sarco patch, normal game, or something else. Yesterday i installed all things people suggested me for improving RifE (2 patchs, and a few reedited files in asset folders)
 
Interesting that shouldn't happen, can anyone do any coding for that? I am still too pressed for time.

what leader are you playing? IIRC one of them (one of the emergent ones) did confer that nice promotion, but also made apprentices start with channeling 2. So it's possible that it's not a bug, but a feature
 
You are Right, its Tya Kiri free promotion, but this is stupid!! that promo keeps forever. No matter if i level 1 adept, upgrade him to mage or firebow or whatever, it will join bhall in the end and attack me.

When i need put 1 mana node i must use whip for ending it before the adept become barbarian xD

Its a feature but its senseless. sorry for reporting this.
 
About that feature, ¿is there any way for getting control back over those aprentices? if not, maybe its a normal feature of game but it should be changed because it ruins the game with Tya kiri. Could somebody answer? thanks.

According to the XML, it should be removed when you upgrade the apprentice to a tier 3 unit (e.g. wizard). If it doesn't, this is a bug.
