Firebug's Civilizations

Just read that Corinth will not be updated anymore due to a file loss. Could you at least update the art, though? I imagine that should be possible, right?

Theoretically Corinth could still be salvaged and remade from the downloadable files. I had to do that with Vietnam.

Don't know how old that post is or where you found it. Must be over a year old by now.

I was able to update Corinth to its current state last year. But it will probably be Updated again this year as part of my 2016 Updates (Similiar to Athens and Argos). Better art, compatibilities, music.

Actually that information is right in the OP. Do you plan on updating the other non-greek civs as well?

Right. Didn't notice that was there. It's gone now.

And yes, i'm planning a Tlingit civ. Palmyra is in the works obviously, but thats a group effort, and i'm trying to design an update for my Modern China mod.

I'd be up for helping any way I can with the Tlingit civ. Pacific Northwest is Pacific NorthBEST.

I basically need help with everything. I'm a history geek, not a history nerd. I can't research for the life of me. It's why i stick to the easy stuff like Greek States and major countries.

I'm only one man, and i can't do Samos and Palmyra at the same time.
Coded hasn't even begun on Samos yet, i made the art and design and that's about it. (and the design isn't even finished, its an early design)

Although my modding usually works as what i want to work on at the time. Like "today i'm gonna work on Samos" or "I need to finish Palmyra, people are waiting on this".
Or i go "That civ needs an update, i'll come up with a design."

But you'll notice on the first page theres a Greek State banner with some teasers for the next city states. I have got plans! I'm not entirely random.

(I'm also going through my final 5 weeks of compulsory education)

The focus will probably be foreign territory (like using roads, maybe), and gaining something from losing units (Phyrric Victory, after all).
I know what the UUs are going to be - Chaenion Agema and Mercenary Elephants.

(I'm guessing you recognised one of the icons as Epirus, since i didn't say Epirus was along the list)

I thought his name was spelled Pyrrhus?

This guy has done an amazing job making a TSL scenario of my Greek State mods and a LS's Minoa.

Check it out here!
I didn't know it existed until just now.

Just a heads up, Athens is able to build pioneers in the CBP, essentially removing the "one city" aspect once they're unlocked. Surprisingly, settling the city didn't crash the game, just settled as if I had run out of city names. I haven't yet, but I think it's a good idea to test this for most of your "one city" mods just to make sure.

I have no idea how to fix that. To be honest, i probably never will unless someone gives me an easy solution.
I'm busy with other stuff! Palmyra was released without compats to empty my plate ready for the next big thing.

Another Greek State will unlikely be seen until Civ6. And even that will be a remake.

I'm coming to the end of my life in education. I will not be going onto a University, thus meaning i will have to go out there and be a responsible adult, get a job, live my life.
This won't stop modding obviously, just as it won't stop my hobby of going out into a muddy field and hitting people with fake weaponry, but it will slow it down. Civ6, if the tools are as good as promised, will likely be my restart point that gives me that extra boost back into the civfanatics world.

Obviously, making the same Greek civilizations again and again was a definite drain on my energy. I enjoyed making them, the art was fun, but i was churning them out on weekends when i would usually just sit back and play video games. Now with my exam in less then a month, and becoming 18 in one month and a day, i realise i need to focus on more important things.

I will help Colonialist Legacies with their next release, and that will likely be it. I will continue to browse the forums, since you guys are great, and possibly throw out a patch or two when i can.

What did you do to piss off half of Worcestershire?
