I don't think this will play enough like Civ IV for my tastes.

And I think it has too many mechanics. Eliminate happiness and production. Gold and science is all we need. I mean, I don't know about you, but juggling more than two things at once is really hard and since I get easily distracted . . . is that a spider on my wall?

Well, they need to get over it and stop thinking of outdated Civ5 concepts! It's a whole new game! You have to think about it differently, because it's very streamlined and organic and the AI is even more realistic now and plays to win harder! ;)

Of course, and you can't blame Firaxis for letting Jon Shafer Jr, a 14 years old kid, in charge. No matter if he lacks experience, it WILL be great after a few patches ! Have faith, brotha ! See you in another civ !

Well, i said in other post that if the devs continue to think that perfection is attained when there is nothing left to be taken away, Civ VI would look like this:

It looks that you are far more optimistic than me :D

I see they've gone back to squares but have still kept 1upt. :D

Platinum thread!

I'd like to add something witty, but I've just pissed myself and have to go get changed....

...And, by popular demand, ALL the leaders will be speaking Farsi! Insta-preorder!

What's really cool is that, instead of just having those boring leader scenes from Civ 5 (often they're just sitting there!), massive resources have been put on making diplomacy. The leaders will now actually give you a quick guided tour around their palace and you can even exchange fashion tips.

Also, the AI will now behave much more like a human player, occasionally taking toilet breaks and may suddenly quit the game because he discovered that he had no iron within his borders.

thx for the early warning.

Picture seems to be fake. But I have good news. Top management from 2k noticed Tupisac's works. I can tell that people from 2k understand fans. They know what we want and they are going to give it to us. So they appointed Tupisac to be lead designer of Civ VI.

Grats Tupisac!

In Civ VI, there is going to be a new resource called gold that yields 3 gold on the plot, but the mine costs 5 gold in maintenance and gives a penalty towards civic policy change.
