Farmville was bad enough, I can only imagine the Facebook status spam that would generate.

"Dave has a built a new city! Do you want to help him?"

"Dave has found some ruins! Do you want to help him?"

"Dave bought a unique spearman for $20!"

Excuse me, can you tell if i can play it via Twitter or Messanger? Because if it supports only Facebook i will not buy it (I hate facebook:mad:).

And it is possible to play by cellphone too?

It will be playable on all formats that are able to afford the licence fee. From phones, to i-pods to those old bar code game things, the only thing that mightn't play it is a top of the line gaming pc.

Tupisak is a genius. I hope he shows up here soon, I don't want to take credit for his brilliant screenshot.

Will someone contact him via private message in the 2K forum, and bring him here.:) I don't want to open an account there...

This make me laugh. Such hostility there. Fanbois.

Moderators over there are quite lenient. I wonder why...:crazyeye:

I don't like the look the of Civ VI, it doesn't look as if it is as good of a game as Civ V. I'm scared to say this out loud though incase I get told 15 times by 15 different people that it's not Civ V, it's an entirely new game.

why are there so many eras? and why is renaissance spelled incorrectly? VI is just too shoddy as it stands. :nono:
Of course it is - after all it's just a good foundation, and will be polished as long as lead designer will be able to :D

I got my hand on some concept art as well as some information about some new units. On of these makes it comeback from Civ IV and the other one is a secret unit that you have to play in very specific way to unlock.

Are you ready? I present to you, the...

Spoiler :

...Marine!

MarineConceptArt.jpg

Strength: 40
Movement: 2
Hammers: 300
Special ability: Old fashion ass kicking
Tech: Tomb Raiding

Civilopedia:

They're ruthless, they're insanely sexy and they're ready to kick some ass. Armed and dangerious - The Marine units are back! They don't fear getting wet, they don't fear getting dirty and they will do whatever you command them to do. No army is complete without the marines.

And now, get ready for the biggest and baddest and most awesome unit in the game:

Spoiler :

...The Giant Mutant Missile Mech Squid!

GiantMutantMissileMechSquid.jpg

Strength: 575
Movement: 10
Hammers: 20,000
Special abilities: Can swim in water, can rollerskate, can dance and sing kareoke
Tech: Steam Power*

*The player must also have bought at least ten games from Steam and completed at least 50 Steam achievements

Civilopedia:

The Giant Mutant Missile Squid is the biggest, baddest, unit in the game. It's armed with missiles, a big freakin' gun, a terminator claw and last but not least, a deadly bad breath. The squid's arms have rollerskates attached, making in it incredibly quick both on land and in water. If the player plays his own mp3's, the Giant Mutant Missile Squid will start to dance and try to sing kareoke.

...But seriously, Brett, you should stop giving them ideas, I think that especially the last is right up their alley... O_o

VERY good one, :D

I'd say it's a step forward from the GDR, don't you think? ;)

Stop Brett please I am having pain cause too much laughing :lol::lol:

I stopped at laughing, and if the marine unit will be just like that ????????????

Oh my god !! I think you are close to the reality much more than what you may imagine !!

What language does the GMMMS speak? I'm afraid I won't pre-order it unless it is French with a particular Nizhniy Novgorod accent.

This happens to be your lucky day! :D

I took another look at the VI preview -- and I do have to give them this.... It appears that they've finally found a way to represent rivers in a way that no one will have any reason to complain about their aesthetics!
