Well, i said in other post that if the devs continue to think that perfection is attained when there is nothing left to be taken away, Civ VI would look like this:

I think that game could be made better in Civ VII by replacing the square with hexes. :)

is this true? has someone confirmed this? why are the devs working on six already when they should be working on patches and massive fixes for five??

:eekdance:

Well, there are a lot of features to kill off and you can only remove so many in each release.

I for one am glad to see there is no "Buy Great Person" button.

I eagerly await Civ10 -- which I'm sure will be an interface with a two buttons... Next Turn and Kill AI.

Wow! That looks really streamlined! Easy to play, hard to master. The concept art looks very promising I'd say. Is it steam compatible?

Yes - but you have to have an active internet connection to use the O's.

I heard that there will be an offline mode available. All you have to do is to click a checkbox before exiting the game, fill out a short survey from Steam on why you want to play in offline mode, write in a few words seen in picture to make sure that it's actually a humn that wants to play in offline mode an uninstall all network drivers. This will let you play offline for 8 straight hours. After that, an internet connection will be required to make sure the game is properly patched. However, for longer flights, Steam has a solution; Buy two extra games, and the offline playtime will be extended from 8 hours to a whooping 16 hours.

I plan to make a DLC with a map of Eastern asia and Japanese castles replacing the X + the Porcelain tower replacing the O's :D Only 10$ :p

Since the game will be more moddable than ever, I suspect that won't even have to pay. Now how great isn't that? :D

I heard that the pre-order bonus includes a plastic Giant Death Robot transformer and a two-hour documentary on how Jon Shafer prepares his sandwiches.

If by civ6 they STILL haven't added the "Perfectly Normal Beast" resource to the game we should all cancel preorders.

I found a picture of the action figures that come with the "super limited deluxe extra all included edition (except for some release day dlc)":

Allt this, the two hour video where Jon prepares sandwiches and a pdf-step-by-step guide on how to disable Steam adds and make it run properly in offline mode, to the feasible price of $129,99.

Wow, man, I can't wait ! I'm sure it will be the best and everyone who disagrees is just afraid of change !

So many lulz in this thread....

(And I don't think I will ever again hear the word "organic" without cackling)

"Perfection is gained when there is nothing left to be taken away". This has been achieved only once, in the design of the teardrop micro-bikini.

Well, they need to get over it and stop thinking of outdated Civ5 concepts! It's a whole new game! You have to think about it differently, because it's very streamlined and organic and the AI is even more realistic now and plays to win harder! ;)

Any info about system requirements?:lol:

I heard that XP is out of luck for this one. It's been programmed from the ground up for Vista/7, only 64-bit, and unless you have an i7 it's going to be unplayable. It will utilize all 6 cores and ONLY 6 cores. Any less and you will have CTD's.

Also, MINIMUM of 16GB RAM. That's where the 64-bit OS comes in.

Also, Jon Shafer is quoted as having said that X's can do "Terrible, Terrible Damage" in the wrong hands.
