Five Best and Worst of M2TW?

The Good

1. Graphics. My Radeon x300 card works properly again! Huzzah!
2. The sheer butchery on the battlefield. It's beautiful.
3. The inquisition is suitably terrifying.
4. The non-clone armies.
5. Videos...although they are nowhere near as good as the Shogun videos.

The Bad

1. Cavalry charges never seem to work.
2. AI is still predictable.
3. Too many rebels.
4. The campaign map is dull, dreary and it makes me cry.
5. The enormity of the game - 11GB!

The expansion pack, Kingdoms, looks awesome though. The best one yet, I think.

The Good

1. Graphics are excellent.
2. The Papal elections and priest ranks.
3. Missions from different sources.
4. A long time frame.
5. Actual fighting is nice.
6. Auto-Calc usualy works well when you have a big advantage.
7. The guilds are definately helpful, especialy for thieves and assassins.

The Bad

1. Diplomacy doesn't do much. Alliances are worthless. Nations really don't liek sharing maps or soemtimes won't accept maps as a gift. Natinos don't seem capable of realizing they are practicaly defeated or losing the war.
2. Inquistors are a pain in the buttocks. Pope's demands for peace are not always extended to the AI.
3. AI is often predictable, especialy in their army choices. (Moors use WAY too many light infantry and no calvalry).
4. Not enough provinces in vanilla, but that is fixed by mods.
5. A single highly skilled enemy (OR EVEN ALLIED!) merchant can take out all of yours.
6. It takes a looooong time to get princess and diplomat's skills up and they EASYILY to lose traits. It makes more sense with assassins though.
7. Some guilds rarely show up.
8. 11 GB
9. AI armeis sit there and don't retreat (or may fall back a bit) while you cut them down with missiles.
10. AI armeis are predictable in battle.

=======

It's easier to think of bad things since you EXPECT people and things to be good. M2 is still a great game despite it's flaws.
