Flags?

Does anyone know if there'll be national flags in Civ5? I really love the flags carried by all units in Civ4. I hope there won't be just "shields" like in the previous civs and I would wish that the different types of units would carry different types of flags too. Settlers and workers could have a smaller type of flag than purely military units and ships and cities could fly a differently shaped banner as well.

Looks like flags have been replaced by badges/icons.

pretty much everything possible is coloured in one of the two civ's national colours, but no actual flag bearers in amongst the units.

Pretty much all the standards and flags that appeared in the game were true to the civilization's flag in their prime. I'm not sure what you're referring to though.
