Forums Logging me Off

It just happened again...

Just about every day, I will be browsing the forums. Then, without warning, after I've typed a response in the quick reply box, I will get a message that tells me to log in. I log in, and I get another message that a link wasn't specified. Then, I throw a fit. I've lost 5 keyboards so far...

Anyway, why is the forum just logging me off? It doesn't matter how long I've been view threads. I was just kicked off after trying to post a single message. Also, it's happened during all times of day, even when the forum isn't busy at all. Is this common? How can I stop this from happening?

Clear your cookies.... Or empty your temp internet files. In my case, usually a cranky cookie that's at fault.

Octavian, I've had the same problem since I registered. I know the simple answer is "a cranky cookie", but I have come to believe that the firewall I'm behind (at work) just likes to screw with me.

I just make sure I keep a copy of my post until I'm sure it has been posted. If I get the login screen after a Quick Reply, I don't log in there. I go to the forums front page and log in there and start again. (I started doing that after a few times of seeing that "link not specified" message.)
