From humble beginnings...

Hello, just thought that there should be a story about two big-ass nations battling it out in a huge map. Oh, and don't worry, there will be blood.

On with the show....
(By the way, feedback much apperciated*, I know it was a very short chapter, but this is only the first and I was tired. The next one will be longer.)

CHAPTER I: A HUMBLE START​

After long waits and awful fights, it was decided that "our people will no longer live in such squalor". Napolian* was called for the duty,perhaps because of the wicked twinkle in his eye, to lead the revolution called by his people.

The French quickly established Paris, their capital.

"A marvelous setting" their people called.
But what lay outside the fog of war was unknown, for only time will tell.

CHAPTER II: A HUMBLE UNDERDOG

The French weren't known to be lazy, and started work on a worker as soon as the city was founded. And as for research, MYscyism*. Progress was slow, for a few turns later Hindiuism* was founded in French territory and later Buddiuism*.

Paris was the holy city of TWO religons*.

2 turns pass and Germany contacted us for the first time.

And on the same turn the worker was finished being built and was instructed to farm the rice. Production was switched to a settler.

Orealns was found not long after and was instructed to work on StoneHenge.

Good start. One suggestion (this is what I do): Type it in Word and use the spell check(F7) then just copy and paste it into CFC. It lets you do spellcheck plus it lets you have the whole story uninterupted in one place.

I think I missed something, though. what are the map settings, besides huge. I'm guessing if you met Freddy that fast that it's probabally Pangea?

correct! also keep up the good work on Rise of Rome! It's wonderful. The sea level is random, and Domination victory is turned off.

CHAPTER II: A HUMBLE CLOSE CALL

Times are slow and troubling for the mighty French empire. Stonehenge is expected to be completed soon. Monthesiusm* was discovered and Orlens starts singing "I had a Little Dradal*" in no time.
This is the time for great discovery:
Stonehenge,

the Oracle,

the Paraphon,
the hindu shrine,
the Buddist shrine,

were built, giving the French a great lead. But their economy was in shatters. to fix the problem, a Great Prophet was called upon. "Build a shrine" they said. So they did just that, an turned the Great Prophet into a Great Profit (Yes, I know I'm going to hell for that one. Trust me, it was a very short trip from the beginning.).

But what lay next, was soon to be discovered.
