Frontier Justice [Game Thread]

An iPad is typically a little bigger than the average phone, but still an infernal piece of touchscreen keyboard, bleh. (Unless you have an external one for it.)

Omega (and anyone else, for that matter) - Do you see any connections between living players? Any instances of distancing of note?

I do not see anything from the EoD vote tallies. :/
Though, the close not ties are D1 (7 JohannaK* (confirmed vill) to KM 6), D3 (7 Atheotes* (confirmed vill) to Tak 5) and D4 (5 Arakhor* (confirmed vill) to Omega 3)

*These are where the Cool Hat Bearer voted.

Any of those could have been v-w just looking at it that way, tbh.

The tie day was D2 (Atheotes 4, BSmith 4 - Tak chose Jarrema). I do not know what to think of that.

(Correct me if I am wrong/typo'd any of these :S)

D2 could establish a Tak BS link. Tak, in his attempt to sow chaos, decided to not add suispicion to his scum buddy BS by killing a complete third party in the dispute. Probably the best solid lead we have at the present moment. Then if we add mat as the third mafia, I could see that being a realistic pair.

I again repeat, if we ever agree Tak is mafia we need to go after him at once. If he can force a tie, he will always survive every lynch.

Hm, true, and with the typical erratic behaviour Tak is difficult to read. He does have an abysmal voting record to boot.

Unvote; Vote: Takhisis

Aaand I am off for now but will likely be back before EoD.

I am very much around.

vote: DuffKilligan for the same reasons as yesterday. He posts enough to barely skim under the radar but, like I said, provides absolutely nothing of substance. I find this incredibly suspicious.

Some of my observations from the rest:
-Takhisis just seems like he's trolling since he has, like I said earlier, some degree of immunity in the form of the hat. It's not a liability yet I don't think, but we should still watch this in case.
-Omega's flinch posts are wordy yeah but I don't believe that a scum would go these lengths of visibility, even in her situation where she's had multiple wagons.
-BSmith and Xym both haven't posted enough for me to really know. That could very well be a sign of scuminess but I don't think we're at that point in the game where we should be lynching on that alone.

oh really SK? (I swear, I'm going to adopt a "lynch all Belklar's" policy if there become any more of you... two of you are my top suspects anyways. And this is a Zack game so we have to lynch him eventually, since he's the host :p )

If Tak isn't a liability YET, then when will he become a liability? Tomorrow, when he becomes nearly unlynchable? Or today, when we tie three way and he shoots another townie? or maybe tonight when he personally executes one of us in our sleep? Or was it when he shot Jarrema, all those days ago beginning his absurd reign over our lynch?

I totally understand wanting to lynch Omega but we've had TWO days now, TWO DAYS when Tak was up for vote, and then conveniently everyone (including myself some of the time) was effectively diverted to someone else, and the person Tak was voting for died. And they were a townie.

Granted I have no better track record so far this game (none of us do) but given Tak's overall shenaningins, his OMGUSing and the fact that lynching him gets harder by the day... No more. I will not be again diverted by another case. Omega and BSmith can wait until tomorrow. The cat in the hat cannot wait.

*Belkars

So the person I was voting for died… every single lynch has been a townie. Every time I vote for someone people tend to sheep-vote me. When I purposefully voted for a third party and told the town to make up their minds I got rapped for it. Something does not follow.

if we ever agree Tak is mafia we need to go after him at once
So you don't really think I am mafia. Propose a new alternative then, madam.

I disagree here. Duff isn't talking a great deal, but is also posting almost no fluff. So while low content, its high substance. Pretty townie substance in general.

By contributing to his lynch, my intent was to show I was trying to be altruistic when I wanted to give the hat and if I was wrong and he was scum, then I had nothing to do with it. That message did not seem to come through, which is my bad.

The argument against this bit is simply scum would want to distance themselves (when one of them is being lynched more so), and hence doing it under pressure is just bad. If you thought I was scum you should of been voting for me, or voting for Arakhor as you know you are town, and therefore lynching anyone is better chance of hitting scum, especially as all vanilla townies.

The tie day was D2 (Atheotes 4, BSmith 4 - Tak chose Jarrema). I do not know what to think of that.

Looking back, Jarrema was being scummy, and was a reasonable lynch candidate. I'm not sure Takhisis made a particularly scummy/bad lynch choice here.

As much as I agree with that logic (and I will vote switch later if needed to ensure he doesn't have lynch control):

I again repeat, if we ever agree Tak is mafia we need to go after him at once. If he can force a tie, he will always survive every lynch.

The level of consensusness in this post...put your money where your mouth is (I know you put your vote there later, but still).

vote: Omega

I'm actually seeing an Omega/KingMorgan w/w after their interactions today. Some subtle distancing in there.

I think spaceman makes sense here, the more we hold off lynching tak, the more we either have a wolf able to control a lynch (which I find likely) or a villager who can't be bothered to put forth an actual effort.

unvote; vote takhisis

Well, I'd go for BSmith, possibly Takhisis and KingMorgan, but then I'm thinking that either you or Mat is probably scum too. After all, what sort of townie votes for the person that they claim to think is the most likely to be town on the pretext that they think it will make them look less like scum?

i really don't get the case on bsmith in general - he could be scum but is literally no different than southernking/xym, but I'll relook later anyways

I'm not sure that there is much of a case on BSmith, but I've felt generally uneasy about him all game. Then again, everyone else I've listed as being suspicious so far has turned out to be town. :(

Given that you're playing so horribly right now, Omega, would you then never even consider Mat and BSmith as possible mafiosi once I were proven town?

Well when I'm second on the chopping block, and I know I'm townie 100%, and there as a small chance I could have been wrong about you, it's not that unreasonable? :dunno:

I don't even understand this question because of bad phrasing, but even if I did I'm pretty sure this is loaded beyond reason so I wouldn't either way.

Bad phrasing? It's perfectly good English.

You're playing horribly because you're somehow making out a Mat93-BSmith-Takhisis scum trio to be in existence. So, once I am proven town, do Mat93 and BSmith automatically become town?

I'm not going to pretend I'm not biased, but if you really think that someone is town and you're not in danger of being lynched, don't vote for them. That is just blatantly anti-town.
