FTP Server

Looking for an FTP server to put on my home machine to pull/put files there. I started using WarFTP, but my firewall won't let it take incoming connections. I tried configuring ZoneAlarm to do it, but it wants the connecting computer to be on a trusted IP address. Not a problem for my work computer, since it's static IP, but I have dynamic IP on my road runner, so that's not really feasable.

Does anyone know how to configure ZA/WarFTP, or know a good secure FTP server?

What OS are you running? XP/2000 can run an FTP service themselves.

XP Pro. How do I set that up?

In the Settings/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs/Add-RemoveWindowsComponents go to Internet Information Services (IIS) and select FTP, which will automatically select some other items too. WARNING - you need to make sure you're allocating permissions correctly as you're opening a very big security hole into your computer. These sites looks like they explain that part pretty well:

Great! Thanks. Yeah, I'm not happy about opening it up. I tried turning off the anonymous login on WarFTP, not sure if it worked. But with the firewall up, it will only accept connections from a trusted domain.
