As the title says. I'm interested in who has the cheapest/dearest fuel here in CFC. if you can could one turn it into litres and US currency. Over here fuel is around $1.71-$175 NZD per litre. In US dollars thats around $1.05 per litre if my mathematics is right.

CHF 1.75 more or less, makes about USD 1.42 / litre

Close to $0.92 USD/L here in Alberta.

Filled my tank this morning for €1.12 per litre:

Irish Petrol Price:
€1.12 per litre
€4.24 per gallon (US)

At that price you would pay:

In Sterling
£0.77 per litre
£2.89 per gallon (US)

In US Dollars
$1.41 per litre
$5.34 per gallon (US)

In Australian Dollars
$1.84 per Litre
$6.97 per gallon (US)

UK petrol pump technology is the best in the World. In the US you have to squeeze the trigger for ages to spend 30 dollars. Here you just touch it for a second and $30 of petrol is dispensed instantly. Makes me proud to be British!

Seriously, petrol is still too cheap.

I just paid 6.3 Shekels per litre, which is 1.42$ per litre, which is 5.3$ per US Gallon, according to google.

My little European Car costs £40 to fill up. Which gets me about 400 miles. Would probably do more if I didn't sit at 90 mph on the motorway to and from work each day.

As of this morning at 6am CDT (Central Daylight Time), it is $2.659 / Gallon. That works out to $0.70 / Liter.

For the Americans used to $/gal, please have the courtesy to convert to liters, as international 'community' is converting to USD. Makes the comparisons easier.

1 US gallon = 3.7854118 liter

American have fuel way too cheap. :gripe:

The average is 138.3 Aussie cents per litre.

That is about 103.8 US cent per litre or 392.6 US cents per gallon. All approximately though.

I had a $1,000 credit on that card and now I have $366,55 left and I have had that card since June. So ATM I am not feeling the pinch yet.

Wah.

It's not that we have cheap fuel, it's that our taxes on the fuel are lower. And probably a volume discount thrown in for good measure.

On the 'good' side of that state line, we're paying about $2.72.

To be fair, there are probably a lot of places on my side selling for that, or more. I happen to pass a Flying J everyday on the way to work. Very few places beat them on gas prices, though other stations right next to Flying Js do tend to try to match them.
