Funniest thing to happen in Spore

Epic monsters are pretty sweet. So far I'm just avoiding him.

As for the UFO abuction thing, it's kind of neat. I just missed being abducted myself, I was in the middle of a battle during the creature phase and one of the creatures I was fighting got lifted up. I was too busy to check out the UFO, but I thought to myself 'better watch out'

also my whole pack got devoured by a sea monster! I was in the process of killing off a particular creature and had only one of them left, the creature ran off into a lake and kept swimming out into deep water...before I knew it....munch! my whole pack got ate

I saw a member of my tribe get dropped by a UFO. Halfway through beaming it up it must have changed its mind and just stopped.

I also had a friendly UFO help me out in the civ stage. There was a city I was finding particularly hard to take over and it came and dropped a bomb on them. I have no idea why.

lol it is a realistic thing that ufos do, like when Im in space, I often go to civ stage planets and bomb turquoise because its a horrible colour.

I think sea cratures act as a boundry.

Here's a pretty funny story. I beat civ stage in 20 minutes on normal. All I had to do was build houses and units.

Oh and Iggy, I played an entire game without encountering a UFO.(Untill space stage)

My cheiftan was abducted and didn't respawn, so I just quit and advanced to civ stgage with the same creature.

Here's a fun thing that happened to me. When you play the cell stage as a vegitarian, you get a song ability that improves your relations with other creatures. I used this on one of those 'rogue' carnivores( some big carnivorous bulwinkle moose type guy) in late creature stage and made him my ally. Doing that threw me into the Tribal stage, and when I got there I had one as a pet! The area behind the main tribal hut seems to be a pet area. It appears though that my species grew in size from one stage to the other, as in tribal stage he was only about half the height of my tribal members. That was a fun discovery.

Yeah, and they lay eggs and protect your village too, I think. You can carry three of these guys from the creature stage. If you don't have any, you can get them from the wild in Tribe stage.

One thing I noticed is that the music when you meet someone in space is from the classic game M.U.L.E. I can't believe I remember that from nearly 30 years ago. That was a great game.
