Funny Screenshots: Part Deux

You can generate anything on anything using different map generators. Fantasy World, for example, can have tundra hill rice.

Or Sugar and Spice and everything Ice. :mischief:

This isn't for Civ 4, it's for Civ 5, but it's pretty good. My citizens apparently ran out of room for a Colosseum in the city, and there were no mountains around (thats probably a priority :) ) so they apparently thought 'where can we put another building? in the land tiles around it?'
'nah, that would be too much work.'
then the one still trying to pass third grade spoke up and said, 'I know! Let's build it ten miles out of the city, underwater! It'll be cool!'
So they did. The Ottomans have developed SCUBA in the medieval age. Somehow I still got the happiness bonus for that. I'll try to paste the image, because my computer upchucks everything when I try to open the game :(

Tell me if I'm not high on something weird, please:

Spoiler :

*From Spanish, "a. C." = "antes de Cristo" would be translated to English as "B. C." (before Christ).

What's the problem? It's 2875 BC, and GK was first to Polytheism (hence founding Hinduism, or perhaps taking the holy city from the one who did).

What's odd?

No, no, no!!! When the hell is GK supposed to be the founder of an early religion!!!???

Why wouldn't he be? High commerce start, poor AIs that don't start with Mysticism or proritize religion, and he techs Poly first. Or, as I said, Izzy gets Poly first, and GK captures Madrid.

Nothing particularly shocking here.

Lol, that's quite possibly the first time a modern unit was used against a barbarian...

It's GK founding it--I know this map in general, as I created it. Given the setting, it's too hard for an AI to conquer another's capital by that date (big map, playing on Noble difficulty, no better AI programming).

Yeah, but flukes happen. A barbarian horde plows a neighboring civ over, waltzs off, and another AI just walks in with an exploring warrior. Check the WB; the holycity might be something like Bibracte. :)

Or, GK popped Mysicism from a hut, and then researched Poly on his own with a high-commerce start.

The thing is, there are many plausible explanations, and, frankly, improbability doesn't always equal funny (IMHO).

@Dragonxander PR: Looks like somebody just found out about window mode and screenshots ;)

so - tell me ... did the paratrooper die against the archer or ...?

and is there a Civ5 funny screenshot thread yet?

If you use PrSc alone, you don't get asked for the title. If you do SHIFT + PrSc (or maybe it's ALT or CONTROL?) it lets you set the title and shows the ugly popup.
